“I can not speak highly enough about Johnston Regional Airport. Walking through the doors of the facility, you are immediately greeted with a welcoming smile and positive attitude. The building itself is charmingly decorated and impeccably clean. The entire atmosphere of the airport is unlike any I’ve been to boasting a down-home feel with everyone you come into contact with being amazingly friendly and helpful. Ms. Laura Smith, Customer Service Representative, went absolutely above and beyond to assist me in a special request. She expedited the request effectively and effortlessly and followed up to make sure everything in the plans went as planned. If I were able to give Johnston Regional Airport 10 stars, I most certainly would. It was a pleasure doing business with the staff and I look forward to working with them again in the future. “The ambiance is good, and the staff is usually pretty friendly. I have found they miss on some of the details. Tonight, we ordered dessert based upon our waitress’s description of it. Unfortunately the item we got did not really match the description at all- it was described as chocolate cake with Oreo crust and peppermint frosting when in reality it was a block of peppermint ice cream covered in whip cream and chocolate sauce. Additionally, we ordered one burger well-done and one medium, and they were indistinguishable. Both were cooked well done. It’s never been anything that would keep us from coming back.”

“Best place in the Madison area to learn to fly. I've gotten my PPL and instrument rating from here between 2017 and 2020. No waiting on the taxiway idling through $125/hr like KMSN - you're in the air in less than 5 minutes after engine start. Diversity of rental fleet is limited to C152's and C172's (3 N models, 2 have classic NAV radios, 1 GPS equipped, and 2 Skyhawk SPs with nice Garmin GPS units) but the aircraft are well-maintained and good trainers, for sure.”

“You've got to give credit where credit is due! We had pre-booked a Sunday morning pickup from Downtown Philadelphia the previous evening going to PHL International, and we received a confirmation number for the trip. We received a text message 15 minutes before the pickup next morning to say the car was on its way and a confirmation that he has there on location 10 minutes later. The driver was very pleasant and drove very safely. I was very satisfied with the overall performance of the service and recommend them to anyone coming from or going to the Philadelphia International Airport.”

“Excellent service by the team. Although AVGAS and Jet Fuel are self service, the FBO team came out and helped us fuel and towed us to parking before loaning us their courtesy car. They gave us a few suggestions, but we selected The Rib Crib, which did not disappoint. The field is in great condition. Tie down ropes are provided, and you are really close to multiple restaurants and shopping. Price and ease of use beat Tulsa International by a long shot for General Aviation.”
