“I took my daughter and her friend to an art exhibit here and we went with two of my friends who are engaged. We all had a great time and and it was very Interactive. They were also several other showings of different types of art exhibits that were there to our surprise. The people are friendly at the campus and the people at the art show explaining the different pieces or informative and very nice. I asked if they would show us around and explain the artwork and they were kind to oblige. The show we saw was mainly to do with the insect the fly and we all had a great time.”

“Absolutely breathtakingly. My son went to summer camp at Angel's Gate Park. I had no idea what a hidden gem this former military base is. There's a sea life rehabilitation center in it. The church visit this tiny fish first aid hub and get to watch as these animals get better. The basketball court that overlooks the ocean is a dream but it gets cold. The people who run this park are wonderful. Please check it out.”

She helped us pick out a perfect frame, yet with Covid delays, it took months for the frame to actually make it to her store. Despite our painting taking up valuable shop space for her, she showed extreme patience and support to "wait for it" so that the painting would be framed exactly how we wanted it. We were so grateful for her vision, her patience, her perseverance, and of course - the beautiful job she did framing it when the frame finally arrived! Her pricing is also very fair. Thank you!”

If I would have ordered the mat and frame from eBay like I was going to do…it would have looked TERRIBLE! I, then would have ended up taking it to Chuck to re-do it! Lol. The prices are good and the owner is lovely and sells a little bit of everything. His store has been in Brookland since the 1970s, around the same time the beloved Murry & Paul's diner opened. Definitely worth the visit.”
