“My husband and I just got married at Slate. The Fifth Wheel did the catering. They made that day so easy and perfect. They catered the event wth their burger bar, (and it was delicious!) handled the cakes, made us a costume cocktail for the night, and dealt with the linens. They provided us with a tasting print to the event to test drive the food and cakes. The staff they provided were kind, fun, and efficient. “Picked up a family pack of wings from @Wingsetc on Bluffton Rd. Not only were they efficient and friendly, they created a drive-through around the restaurant. I drove around back, was asked my name and the order came right out. Now, I am extremely picky about my chicken wings. Like, embarrassingly so. Our wings were crispy, hot and fried just right. All sauces were contained on the side, to prevent sogginess. The containers of curly fries had a bountiful amount in each and they were also crispy and hot. We got the exact amount of ranch and blue cheese we ordered and everything was packed beautifully. I was really impressed and grateful.”

The young man who was working the pick up was clearly loaded with orders and working on his own with all pick up spaces full of aggravated and honestly just plain RUDE people demanding he bring their orders first and he handled it all so well. I showed up 45 minutes late to my pick up with a car full of hungry kids and had to park in a spot across from the pick up location since they were all full. “I love this place so much, their baked goods are phenomenal. Since opening their menu has definitely expanded to include hot breakfast and lunch items and delicious cocktails! I love that they often serve my favorite Ethiopian archetype coffee and the ambience (pre-corona) is awesome, friendly, low-key and bright. They also sell delicious (and beautiful) chocolates periodically which I’ve sent to family back East. Everything on the menu is thoughtful and creative and flavors are spot on. If you’re ordering something that has to be cooked/prepared and you’re in a hurry, I would call in advance to avoid the wait (always worth it). This is not a fast food joint and everything is crafted to order. If you haven’t been, check it out! None of their baked goods or meals will disappoint. Such a gem!”
