I come in all the time to get a water and When I go on I rave over it because it’s the freshest most amazing water I ever had ever n my life(they say it’s triple filtered) They always greet me with a smile when I ask for it. And we banter and talk about life for a minute or 2. Well I made getting this water such a habit that now everytime one of the workere sees me outside they just bring me one because they saw me and they know I love it!! Do u know what that means to me after a long day at work just sitting outside waiting to leave and have a water handed to me with a smile from a worker just cause they saw me and knew I liked it..it means a lot!! My partner and I stopped at Pitaland for lunch, and we were pleased by the available options. I opted for the Lamb Burger, and my partner ordered The Table (I believe). While I don't think of Pitaland as a place to grab a meal, that has changed. They have a bar-type seating area inside and small tables on the sidewalk.”

“My only regret is not taking more photos of this adorable, modern, market and eatery. I love a black and white graphic aesthetic, and MRKT space when in heavy hand on this look. I'm here for it. The barista is steaming up hot and iced coffees as well as pouring some craft cocktails, your choice. An open window to the kitchen gives a fresh feel to the lite bites they offer. There are a handful Of prepped snacks ready to go as well as a pastry selection. We settled into an outside patio table, ordered a beautiful smoked salmon toast and an almond croissant. The latter was a recommendation from the server, and it was as decadent as she said it would be! We spent a few hours here chatting and dreaming about life, and never felt rushed. The staff was friendly and around to help keep our table tidy, always with a smile. The marketplace is filled with local small treats, from smudge sticks and candles to art and wine. I had to tell myself no a few times to avoid spending my paycheck on a basket full of goodies. This would be a great place to pick up a last minute hostess gift! There are quite a few local and speciality snacks too, think charcuterie board extras! At the end of the day, they have to have good coffee, since that is a main draw of this space. And they do. Confirmed I will be back ;) Pro Tip: as your server to warm up your almond croissant, that ooey-gooey center is just that much better that way!”

“I took my daughter out for breakfast today to a cute little hidden gem called The Periwinkle cafe What a delicious meal! Everything was cooked perfectly, well seasoned with very generous portions. I’ll list our orders below: - Periwinkle special: Two eggs (any style), choice of 3 meats, home Fries or baked beans, choice of toast & 1 pancake or one slice of French toast I got my eggs over easy, grilled English muffin, home fries, a pancake, double bacon and grilled Portuguese chourico. Everything was very tasty! Loved how crispy/crunchy both the English muffin and bacon were. But the standouts were definitely the chourico and the home fries. Both were fantastic.. great flavor and the home fries are cooked with caramelized onions (which I love!) -Smoked Salmon Benedict :English muffin topped with two poached eggs, smoked salmon & hollandaise sauce (comes with home fries, beans or fresh fruit on the side) . My daughter said this was amazingly delicious! Perfectly poached eggs, creamy buttery hollandaise, grilled English muffins, salmon was tender with a nice Smokey flavor.. paired beautifully with the rest of the dish. The decor is nautical themed.. there are a bunch of little tables and a long bench (with pillows) along the front wall. Cute, clean and cozy.. little hand written signs throughout, with one listing their muffins of the day. (I believe todays offerings were corn, blueberry and chocolate chip). Waitress was super friendly and attentive. I have to make a special mention of the prices.. it is such a good deal! Everything we got (including coffee) it all only came to 25 dollars total (that’s with tax too!).. given the portion sizes and quality of food, that’s an insane bargain. I can’t recommend this place enough. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!”
