“SO many amazing vegan options in a town not otherwise known for vegan options. In fact, we wished we had more time in Avalon so we could have tried more! You can do your own custom made breakfast sandwich with vegan egg, sausage and Violife cheese, your own custom made pizzas, they even have amazing vegan sides such as creamy corn and roasted veggies. “Okay so, I’ve been back because I did notice the sign back up. The staff is super friendly. We go here several times a week now. I have brought up more than once that their handicap sign is missing, apparently I need to contact someone other than the store. Everyone without placards park there now. It is NOT clearly marked. It has no sign and the painting on the ground is very faded. Once I brought it up and a customer started arguing with me and getting a little belligerent. Just tried again and nothing has changed. Will just go elsewhere from now on.”

“Yesterday (8/9/23) my kiddo and I were fortunate enough to finally check out our local donut shop. We had been once, but never gone inside. The atmosphere was so nice. It was relaxed and laid back. The complete opposite of other places. We met three wonderful staff members who were incredibly nice and welcoming. I truly felt like we had made new friends when we left. Oh, let's talk about the visual appeal of looking at a wall of donuts of every kind. It is amazing. We came around the corner to see and my eyes were in heaven. So beautiful. The donuts were amazing. The perfect combination of soft, fluffy and chewy. The one I had this morning was still good too. I'm so happy to have found our new local breakfast spot. ❤️”

“Very nice little restaurant on the bay side. I had the blackened grouper tacos. They were awesome with a nice spice level to them. Definitely a locals place. The fries were a nice surprise. They were like fingerling fries, crispy but also meaty. Really good and addictive. I sat at the inside bar and the bartender was polite and efficient. Very friendly people and atmosphere. They had live music and you could sit outside along the water if you wanted.”

“This location opened at 5:30pm on the Saturday we visited. There is paid parking on the street, but you only pay during Monday thru Friday. We got there early, so we had drinks across the street at the Tin Roof, which is a fun bar with live music across the street. This a nice main course to that experience. They were able to fit us in, but keep in mind that reservations are recommended. We chose to dine at the outdoor seating area next to the street. It was a great experience but expect to have cars and motorcycles rev their engines as they cruise along that main street. We optioned to have the grilled chicken fettuccine alfredo, the grilled scallops, and vegetarian salad. And the waffle with ice cream for dessert. The waiter was knowledgeable about the food, and if you ask about the quality or size or availability, they are able to handle those questions. Midas 5-stars for the professional and knowledgeable staff.”
