“My daughter, granddaughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our first experience at the Kate Pearl tea room. After reading various reviews and scrolling the menu, we decided on a reservation for the Royal Tea, which certainly didn't disappoint! First of all, the building that houses Kate Pearl is amazing. As the hostess walked us through to our upstairs table, she provided some history and we were surprised to find out that this home is the oldest standing building in Carroll county! The atmosphere is so well suited to a tea room! Beautiful wood floors and trim, cupboards, nooks and crannies, wonderful draperies, wallpaper and decor - just perfect for an English tea room. The Kate Pearl offers a vast variety of teas and each of us decided on a different one so we could sample each others. While I generally go for oolongs or smokey teas like the lapsong souchong, a new one also became one of our favorites! My granddaughter got the "almond cookies" and it was simply delicious! The table was decorated beautifully and our server, Adele, was very pleasant and well-informed. The food was absolutely fantastic. We enjoyed everything, but some favorites were the chilled berry soup, filo cups filled with a mixture of beans and avocado, and the Darjeeling steeped chicken salad. Scone of the day was chocolate chip, which was so tender and decadent especially when slathered with clotted cream and delicious jam! The creamsicle sorbet topped with a chocolate pearl was the perfect ending to a perfect experience! If I have one slightly negative to add it would be that the room we were in, while absolutely gorgeous, was very comfortable but quite warm. I don't know that the air was circulating well. Otherwise, it was a wonderful experience and we look forward to returning many times! Oh, and I've forgotten to mention what beautiful tea paraphernalia is offered in the gift shop, as well as a variety of scones, jewelry items, cards, and of course a tremendous variety of teas. Thank you to all of you at the Kate Pearl for making this an experience the three of us will always remember and treasure!”

“I come here to Starbucks often. I am a notary, and I often meet clients at Starbucks. I always buy coffee when I’m there to support them because they allow you to sit and work on your computer, read and meet clients there. It’s a very relaxed place except I have one concern. I think because they’re busy. They rarely get out to clean tables. Every time I go in there I have to clean the table myself. I always bring wipes with me, so they need to improve the cleanliness of the eating area. Other than that, the staff is very nice and the coffee is always great.”

“Typically I comment on the atmosphere of the coffee shop, and while this one was really nice and neat, the staff stood out even more! They were super friendly and while I sat outside with my puppy, one of them brought me water for him. They also did an amazing job managing the counter as well as the drive thru. The food and drinks were also delicious! My sister and I ordered an iced chai with almond milk, an iced butter rum latte, a breakfast sandwich and a bagel with cream cheese. She didn’t like her drink as much as I liked mine, but it still wasn’t bad. Out of their merchandise options, I also bought a cranberry apple candle that I’m very excited to use! There’s more focus on indoor seating than outdoor. But I’m glad they at least had one table outside so I could watch my dog. Would highly recommend!”

“We just tried 7 Brew for the first time today. Not only is my iced ‘Blondie’ the tastiest and most refreshing coffee ever, my medium size looks a whole lot like a Starbucks venti! Got my younger girls iced chais. We are all beyond satisfied with the coffee and tea, very nice, smooth, and a good balance of flavors. For being so new, the staff was pumping out drinks at the speed of a well seasoned coffee shop. Speaking of the staff, EVERY. SINGLE. EMPLOYEE. Was soooo friendly, upbeat, happy to see anyone in line. Good job 7 Brew, having employees that are happy to be there and happy to serve is 50% of the reason to go again. “First time and we loved it, I had the Lobster Bisque soup and it was just delishhhhh wished it came with the crackers and I also had the Cross Country wrap (Chicken, guacamole, grilled and peppers, cheddar cheese, salsa, sour cream & lettuce on a spinach wrap) and OMG my mouth just danced with joy (It did take a lille longer to get our food). Now let's talk about inside, I love how they support local artist as they have their paintings displayed on their walls and you can purchase them right there on the spot. Plenty of seating (inside and out), very clean and loved their homemade lemonade. Will stop by again when we are up in Peekskill. There is street parking near by and lots and lots of great stores near by as well. Do check out the Third Eye Arts Studio and Gallery next door.”
