“I decided to check out the restaurant so I ordered both a breakfast and a lunch item for takeout. The service was good and both items turned out to be pretty good. The restaurant is a little pricey for what it is. My Reuben sandwich was $12.99 and included a small bag of chips. My cheese omelette was $9.99 and came with sourdough bread. For comparison, the veggie omelette is $11.99 plus $1.99 if you want cheese with it. Keep in mind that you order at the counter and a tip option is displayed on the computer screen. The baked items looked very appetizing, and I will likely try them on my next visit.”

“I visit lots of Biggby shops (I'm Biggby 4 life) and this one is a nice one. It's not a place to actually get some work done on your laptop - it is small and busy so it does get noisy. It is cozy enough to pretend to work. I checked out the merch while I was waiting for my drink and I found a real gem: one of the softest t-shirts 👕 to be found. $16 is a great price so of course I got a blue one. The parking lot is tiny and spots are tight. The other shops look interesting. When I'm back in the area I know which Biggby I'm going to. 😀 ☕”

I got the orange chicken salad and it’s amazing, I did have them remake it because there was a bug in it (nothing bad like a roach, moth, etc. just a little tree bug!) but the server was very nice and gave me a refund after remaking it ☺️. It is a little pricey but the portions are pretty big and are most definitely worth the price! Overall rating: ♾️/10!”

“My wife and I visit this location regularly because it is very close to our house. At one point, we were visiting every morning with the kids to get drinks on our way to daycare and work. The staff are always friendly and they try not to let the lines get long. The store is almost always quite clean and when it isn't, they are quick to get someone cleaning it. I've also seen them rush outside to assist people who need it without hesitation. Overall, this is a great location to stop, fuel up, and grab a quick snack or drink.”

The blueberry lemon scone has got to be the best scone we've ever had. Only thing we could have done to make it over the top was to have a little whip cream to dip it in. The Mable buttermilk layer cake was like eating the most delicious pancakes in layer cake form. So good! The cinnamon cupcake with cream cheese frosting was also excellent. “The National Cathedral is a place of solemn worship and meditation, and the cozy, rustic environment of the Open City Cafe is a meaningful addition to it. It also provides amazing coffees, pastries and paninis, if you're seeking earthly nourishment instead of just spiritual fulfillment, and they're really good at it. While there is no table service, they do bring the food to your table, and they use fresh ingredients as far as I can tell. Highly recommend, for either a coffee or lunch proper.”
