“A beautiful campground. The lake is gorgeous and huge with a walking path, benches and piers. There is a swimming area, playgrounds, racquetball courts and more. The campsites are spacious and mostly wooded. We have a 32 foot camper and had. O problem parking it. I will definitely be back.”

“Our friends chose this campground and we just went along for the ride. What a pleasant surprise the campground was! The landscape is beautiful and the campground was clean and very well taken care of. The restrooms were clean and the cabin we stayed in was very nice (like a cute little house). We were able to rent a golf cart to ride around the campground. The store had last minute necessities. The field of rocks was just an awesome sight to see and the kids loved climbing them. There were plenty of activities for the kids throughout the day and we also visited Crystal Cave, about 15 minutes away. My family had such a great weekend and we can't wait to go back again soon.”

“Mike, keeps a good balance between law and order and not being to heavy handed. We have always enjoyed our stay here. Camping is priced comparable to many Nascar tracks. Probably a little high for Nhra but it's the US Nationals the demand allows it and it is preferred to the other choices available. I appreciate the patrolling by the law officers.”

“Great place to camp if you are going to a red rocks show! Just make sure you get the back entrance address because they close the front at night. The back entrance can be tricky if you’ve never done it before beware!”

“A yearly experience for my troop. The weather changes year over year, but it is a fun, low stress travel camping trip to bask by the light of the full home depot sign moon lol. Nice archery range too, though you must provide your own range master. Friendly rangers as well.”

“The Contemporary Resort is basically the main hotel in Disney. It was nice there, would obviously go back again. They have great service, & AMAZING food! We ate at Chef Mickey’s our first day there and we loved it and couldn’t wait to try other places, my dad liked Chef Mickey the most because of their waffles :) we all kind of liked the fact we could get whatever we want on our waffles (Chocolate Chips, Fudge, Sprinkles,Etc.) We ate at Chef Mickey’s our first and last day there. We all knew we liked it and we needed somewhere to eat for breakfast and we chose Chef Mickey because we enjoyed it a lot.”

“Its a place you can actually reserve, unlike other beaches around here. It is a little tight where you camp, but if you hang out by the beach it shouldn't bother you. The walk to the beach is a little long, but you have time to take walks when you are camping. Parking can be a problem if you have visitors so plan ahead. Stores are quite a drive too so plan ahead. Beaches are nice.”

“One of our favorite spots to camp near DC. All spots along the river, great biking for kids along the toe path, even an open field (dried, cleared portion of the canal) where the kids can play soccer, etc. Note you cannot park at sites and at a minimum have to cross the canal and in some cases walk a ways along the toe path to get gear to your site. A wagon is very helpful. Also, the bathrooms are all down near sites 5 or 6 so it can be helpful to have bikes if you're at the higher numbered sites. It's worth the effort though.”
