“Had a great stay here. The managers were really friendly and helpful, the showers were clean and had unlimited hot water, and the shower block was lovely and warm (it was freezing outside!). Washing up facilities clean and warm. The site is large so there was loads of room and it has a large play area. Will definitely come back when I'm next in the area :)”

“If you are a local Scout and you want to go camping this is the place for you. Car parking recently expanded which is a great help. Just a thought, you do not have to be a Scout to camp here, they do take private bookings and those from other organisations. See the website link for booking info.”

“Excellent place to stay near London We recently stayed at Lee Valley Caravan Park in Hoddesdon. The ladies on reception were very friendly and helpful, the site is lovely, spacious. Showers are very warm, with heaters making sure that the building was warm too, as were the toilets which were very clean. There is a short wooded dog walk on site and a huge area of grassland across the main road. On site launderette also available - £3 per wash is reasonable for the convenience. Hard standings for caravans with space for awnings. We were also allowed to put up a garden for our dogs. Can't recommend the site enough. If we go down south again, I shall use the same place.”

“We stayed here the weekend of the cranberry Festival in Chatsworth. The campground provided free transport to and from cranberry Festival. They also extended the stay n Sunday from 11 to 4 because of the festival. So we were able to stay an extra 5 hours and enjoy our time camping for free. We were checked in by a nice lady named Kathy who was helpful. I found all the staff to be very friendly and nice. We are looking forward to going back next year.”

“Great campground near the Carranza Memorial. There’s a well here at the front with very clean looking water (although I still filtered it). The loud military planes can be a bit annoying. Batona Trail runs right next to it. Lots of spaces.”

“All of the public lands in the Pine Barrens are worth a visit. There's nowhere else like it in the world. I love finding old abandoned cranberry bogs (see photos) and blueberry farms. Amazing animals and plants. You can hike all day in the pines and never see another person. It's really wilderness out there.”

“My daughter were in the Camp she is 8 years old. Parents were aloud to drop and pick up children in the car park. I did not visit or see anything else. When she came back she said they sleep on top of a bank beds and she could see the ceiling moving - .Not sure how bad or good does this sounds without seeing it with your own eyes. Otherwise she had a great time sleeping over there for 1 night.”

“A place of quite beauty hidden by urban development. The people who run the site are eager to help and offer advice. The facilities are excellent in comparison to many other campsites. It has adequate parking. Close to Lakeside and other shops it offers you a quiet and serene place to rest between travels.”

“The best place for relax ????????????”

“Rustic as it gets. A cleared out space in the dirt way deep in the woods on a nice body of water. There is no glamping and no hookups. The road in is barely a vehicle width. Unless you have AWD or 4WD, don't even think about coming back here. Open year round if you don't mind everything frozen over. Some people are into that.”

“This camp only started in December 2017 and my son attended from the age of 3 from that moment on to the present day. Rob and Natasha- the camp founders, have put in immense effort to make this camp what it is- friendly, fun and active. They're is something for all children. It's brillant. They have access to 2 fantastic venues which have the outdoor space the kids need. It's not too big as some other camps have a large intake of children, which I find a turn off. They have various activities throughout the week. My son has always thoroughly enjoyed his time there. The staff are friendly and really look after the kids. I highly really recommend this camp.”

“This campsite has very good quality services and the staff are really helpful. We stayed in a cocoon and found it to be clean and comfortable. It was surprisingly well kited out with cooking equipment and a fridge. The TV didn't have very good reception but has the facility to watch a DVD. To top it all off the site has a really nice atmosphere when chilling out in the evening.”
