“Great campground and fishing (I caught more trees than fish though). They have sailboat-like picnic tables that can be turned to block the sun or wind which is pretty nifty.”

Shoal Creek Campground

Address: 6300 Shadburn Ferry Rd, Buford, GA 30518, USA

Campground Lodging Park

“I have no idea how anyone could give this place a bad rating. My wife and I went camping here for two nights over the weekend and had a wonderful time. This campground is GORGEOUS. Nearly every site has a view of the lake. We went in early November and the autumn colors were magical. We had a tent site. Each site has a fire ring and aluminum picnic table. And a tall pole... not sure what that's for but we put a lantern on ours for light. Check in was easy and there's a gate at the entrance, which I liked. We felt safe the entire time. There were other campers, but a lot of empty sites too, which is expected this time of year. It was nice and quiet most of the time. We did have an issue with some obnoxiously loud people at 1am but honestly, I've gone camping all my life and there's ALWAYS one group of obnoxious people at 1 am anywhere you go. I think someone called security, because we heard yelling and then it was quiet right after. Bathrooms and showers were clean, and smelt like bleach. Everything was in working order. Yes facilities look old but you are camping. This ain't the Ritz. If you want brand new gold toilets, stay at a hotel. All in all one of the most lovely campground I've been at. And I've been at a lot. Here's some pictures to show you how pretty this place is!”

Lazy Acres Campground

Address: 199 Slag Rd, Derry, PA 15627, USA

Campground Rv park Lodging Park

“Super quiet campground located at Keystone state park. The only negative is that the water is not drinkable. The sediments stained our ceramic toilet and shower brown. We couldn't even give the water to our dogs, else they'd get sick. We had to get the five gallon jugs from Walmart for all of us to drink. We could use the "tap" water for showers and dishes and laundry but even then, we didn't like it. The monthly rate wasn't too bad at all considering the water problem. Electric, sewer and water were all inclusive. The park owners were very kind. And the park kitties were super cute! Lots of beautiful wildlife around, too: groundhogs, pheasants, deer, raccoons and bears! Close to Latrobe (about 15 minutes).”

“Kind owners, brand new laundry facility, fabulous park for kids of all ages (w canopy!) 3 min away, easy access to any store/restaurant w/in 3 miles, good price, dog friendly, pool (still closed for the season during our stay), big dog park w trees everywhere, biking trails adjacent that our teens could use, located on small side street off main connecting road, accessible staff, huge old trees all over. Spaces were small but we didn't want a resort, just a home base. Easy extra parking immediately across from camper. We were quite happy spending the week here! Come check 'em out for yourself!”

“Trading Post Outfitters is a little bit out of the way but on the recommendation of a friend we made the trek and it was definitely worth it. The staff is very helpful and all of the kayaks we had were in good working order. The facility is neat and orderly with clean bathrooms and lots of changing stalls. There are two kayaking options, we took the west section which leads away from the Trading Post. We plan to come back and do the east section as well. The river itself is beautiful, with a good current and the water is very clear. We saw lots of fish in it and a couple of otters as well.”

Calusa Campground Resort & Marina

Address: 325 Calusa St, Key Largo, FL 33037, USA

Campground Lodging Park

“Very nice place, I was reading reviews and most are saying there are no space for r.v’s that it’s like a can of sardines. That’s not the case there are very large properties with plenty of space. I stayed in a very large corner lot across from the park with my family in our 40ft rv with 2 vehicles and a boat on the property we were there for a month and had plenty to do. Our kids made lots of friends, there is a food truck with a good menu selection, and a beautiful spot by the marina to sit down and look at the sunset. I will definitely be coming back!!!”

Green Spot Equestrian Group

Address: 1908 Wildhorse Meadows Rd, Big Bear, CA 92314, USA

Campground Lodging Park

“This is a semi-primitive campsite. There is plenty of room for lots of campers so it is good for big groups. There were fours of us with an RV, tent, and tent-trailer and we left most of the site empty. The toilet on the site is a vault-toilet which, for some odd reason, has two toilets in each room with no dividers. There is no water at the site, so bring your own. The fire pits and barbeques were taped off and could not be used but this may be seasonal because of fire danger. Google Maps does not give good directions for the site and the road is easily bypassed as the campground sign is not at the turn-off. The road is dirt and bumpy but is passable by most passenger vehicles with average ground clearance. The site is only a few minutes from downtown Big Bear but feels very remote since there are not other sites or homes nearby. Cell service at the site is surprisingly good; we had no trouble streaming video at the site and no one had any dropped calls. In summary, this good sized spot is a great place to "rough it" without worrying about bothering others with your noise while still being close enough to town to get a Starbucks in the morning and watch some Netflix before turning in for the night.”

Ball's Falls Conservation Area

Address: 3292 Sixth Ave, Lincoln, ON L0R 1S0, Canada

Campground Park Museum Lodging

“What a beautiful place to get away for the day and be immersed in nature. The trails are nice and wide, and relatively flat so most could enjoy it without concern for great technicality. Just an easy amble through the woods. The path markers were very clear, and none of the trails were particularly long. This time of your everything is covered in a soft bed of moss. I highly recommend going while it is raining or shortly after. The dense canopy above immerses you in its colour, and song. It was very busy, but you can pace yourself to wait 10 minutes in between each person's start time, that way it feels like you're secluded. Can't believe I've never been! Well worth the drive :)”

And if this beautiful campground isn't enough, it's run by one of the sweetest ladies I've ever met. Sherry literally went out of her way to bring me a bouquet of flowers when she found out I had recently had a birthday. She cares so much for the people that stay here. “Great spot to put your RV for exploring St Charles. What a neat town with very friendly people. My wife loved the little shops. Yes it is true there is airplanes that fly over head and a train on one end but for our two trips here it has been quiet. We like the flat concrete pads and it is located right next to the Katy Trail. So for us it meets our needs for a great weekend.”

Clean restrooms and showers are always available. There is a sizable play area for kids and an activity pavilion where kids of all ages can find electronic games, billiards, corn hole, and others. Or, just sit by your own camp and enjoy the relaxing pace of the campground. “This was by far the best Jellystone experience we've ever had. We went for Halloween Weekend. We booked the quad site with friends. The owner and his staff honestly made it even better with their kindness, generosity, and customer service. Looks like the have lots of upgrades coming for next season too. The cabins our friends got were gorgeous! Watch for specials, because they are honoring nurses right now and it was a great deal and special way to feel thanked. Golf carts are brand new and was a must for our big group. We enjoyed the RC track, the haunted walk and can't wait to come back in the summer to use the nice new pool! Thanks for the great trick or treat weekend!”

SB Cove

Address: Bartlett Dam N, Rio Verde, AZ 85263, USA

Campground Park Lodging

“Took the family out in March '22 to SB Cove and had a great time in our little pop-up camper. We got lucky and was able to grab a spot right on the water front. Bring a shovel to help level your campers. You don't need a 4x4 to get to this area and we saw some smaller cars as well. There was a little bit of wind but nothing outrages. We saw a few people catch a lot of fish! Just make sure you buy your Tonto pass before you head out here just in case the kiosk doesn't work and to save a couple of bucks. The 2 bathrooms here were really clean and had absolutely no smell when we used it. You can access the restrooms by hiking back up away from the water.”

“Love the location, the atmosphere, and the owners. It's a community, not just a campground. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else. There is a playhouse and play area for the children, a shaded pond with a bridge, and a gathering tree for events on hit nights. All the amenities needed to feel at home!”
