“Went with a small group of 15 people. The service was outstanding and all the plates were reported to be wonderful. The prices are on the high side for lunch. The restaurant reminded me of many European cafes we have visited. Service is not rushed and very attentive. We were there over two hours for our lunch. If you want to take your time and enjoy your food, the atmosphere, the scenery overlooking the river and your company, this is a great place to go. You won't be disappointed. The only downside was trying to find it. It is separate from the rest of the food court in the Armature Works and can only be accessed from the outside. Almost everyone in our group had a problem finding it. It is at the far southwest corner of the building. They also have some vegetarian options.”

“Straightforward payment, clean bathrooms, water pump. We especially liked the steps between the parking space, fire pit/grill area, and tent space. Took a morning walk along the creek, very beautiful”

“All staff we encountered were super friendly. Campground was clean. Great pool. Lots of activities - but not overwhelming. Well maintained sites - ours, and many around us, had fresh gravel and were level. Nice store that served food. Decent sized sites - I didn’t feel like we were on top of our neighbors. Cell reception wasn’t great - but you’re in the mountains. Reception was actually better than I had anticipated. Overall, a nice stay!”

“We loved it. My wife found it on line. We loved the history behind the park and the train rides were fun. Our 2 teenagers loved the park as well. Very clean and quiet . We will definitely make it back. Thank you for the awesome time. The staff was amazing and very helpful. Also very close to the beach.”

“Awesome location. Gorgeous scenery. Extremely secluded, mainly because you must bushwhack to get there. It is about 7-8 miles one way and a grueling journey, especially if you don't know a good route. Contact me if you are thinking of going on this hike and I can give you some potential routes. This hike is NOT for beginners. You will need navigation equipment and must be in-shape. If you are good hiking 14ers you will probably be OK hiking this so long as you don't mind hiking 1500 ft elevation through steep forest while hopping 40% downed trees on the forest floor. There is a trail to Mt Ida following the continental divide but no trail to the north of the ridge.”

“Big thanks to Sherlyn for answering my questions today regarding our balance to our savings account. She is very knowledgeable and helpful. And I would like to say thanks to Michael for printing out our bank statement (last month), even we didn’t need to make an appointment for getting it and lastly Brianna for a very informative answers that she gave me from all my questions last month. You guys have a good customer service!”

“Beautiful wilderness! Pretty tough going through with snow on the ground. Worth the effort to hike up the trail to get away from the 'cattle market' that Adams Fall can often be.”

“Visited here for our first camping trip! The location on Lake Granby is excellent - only a short walk to the lake shore. The entire campground has very good tree cover to protect from the sun. Nice outhouse-style restroom facilities scattered throughout. The host was friendly and helped us find our site. NOTE: You must purchase a $5 vehicle pass at the lake entrance, which is about 7 miles before you reach the campground. If you forget it will cost you an additional 14 miles of driving to circle back - I know from experience!”

“This is a fantastic place to hike and camp close to Denver. There are 2 pay campsites on either sides of US 285 and there is free dispersed camping along 126 and 126.A. If you are dispersed camping there is no potable water, no trash and no tables. I have camped for free many times in this area and love to head up here for a quick overnight in the mountains here and there. The road to the sites is pretty well maintained and can usually be passed by passenger car”

“Absolutely LOVE this camping spot. This was our second time here. This is BLM land no water, no electric, no dump, no trash. PACK OUT WHAT YOU PACK IN. There are so many spots to choose from with different views either trees or mountains. Nothing is level of course and the 2 mile drive in (we didn't go to far in) is pretty rough. We have a 25ft class c rv. I think just about any size would fit there are so many options.”

“$5 for parking but no entrance fee. Lots of free things for kids (cutouts to take pictures, Jack frost show, snow ball fight, Christmas trail, visit with Santa). Also, some extras you can pay for (ornament decorating, escape room, food and drinks). Fun overall and you can't beat free.”
