“Very pleased to find a shop that will 1.) Work on any make/model, 2.) Specifically, work on a **26-year-old** Volvo, and 3.) Provide the needed service without fixing things that aren’t broken. I had a suspension issue on my 1997 S90. I couldn’t isolate the problem. I asked them to check it all. They could have done anything. But they found the one problem that was causing the noise, fixed it, and charged a more-than-fair price for their time. Dropped off in the morning. Drove back home that evening. If I had just one minor quibble, it’s that their shuttle doesn’t go downtown for drop-offs at work. But I can easily work around that and plan to keep using this shop. Very satisfied.”

“I’ve been taking my vehicles here for yrs. The owners are and staff are very professional and courteous. They are always upfront and honest with letting me about what’s going on with my vehicles. I took my 2016 F-150 with the ecoboost engine in it. I thought the transmission was slipping and so when I took it to them Mr and Mrs Walker were so kind and gracious. Mr Walker explained in detail what all they were gonna do to diagnose and correct the problem. He said it seems to be either a spark plug misfire or the transmission is shuttering which is a very common thing with yr make and model F-150. He and his crew changed the plugs and cleaned the carbon buildup out and they changed the transmission fluid and cleaned that out. And that fixed the problem. Along with the shutter fix. If you need your car or truck fixed take it to the pros at Walker’s Complete. Good honest people which is hard to find these days. I will be taking all of my vehicles here in the future.”

“Let me be clear when I say I’m not a fan of “A repair shop mechanic” so that this review may hold a bit more weight to it. This is NOT your average mechanic shop. The facility is CLEAN, friendly, and welcoming! The staff working here is family oriented, caring and honest about repair and advice. The prices are VERY fair for repairs and a GREAT DEAL on preventive maintenance like oil changes, tire rotations, and brakes. They also have cars for sale right there on the property, WITHOUT the schmoozy sales pitches. I 100% will be bringing my wife’s car by here and will be returning with my truck for ANY of my needs. “I was 1/2 way through a 7000 mile trip in my 1989 vanagon Westfalia with a 2.5l Subaru engine. I arrived at Sugar Point State Park in Lake Tahoe and found it difficult to shift into 1st and 2nd gear. With a poor internet connection at the park I googled vanagon repairs. I found shops in San Diego, L.A , and Washington State. I figured the rest of my trip was hosed! I drove out of the park searching for better internet and parked downtown to run another internet search. To my great surprise I found OutWesty in Lake Tahoe. It was after 5pm and the shop was closed but I left a voice message explaining my problem Around 7pm Dave calls me and tells me he was checking his messages and called to find out the problem. Dave said he was busy but if I could bring the van by the next morning he'd take a look. Dave then asked... are you okay?... are you safe? What an amazing thing to ask! I replied... I'm good. The next morning Dave checked my clutch linkage... all good. He checked the clutch master cylinder... no leak. Dave then took a small cup with a hose attached and bleed the clutch master cylinder... pumped up the clutch and told me to take the van for a drive. The van drove like it was brand new. Dave remarked the problem was the clutch master cylinder. I went around the corner for coffee and a donut. An hour later Dave called and said the van was ready! I asked... do you think I can still make it to Yosemite? Dave said... sure! My trip was back on! Dave asked.... How did you find my shop to call. I replied.... Divine Intervention!!! “I went to family auto this morning and had an oil change, brake replacement, and front rotor replacement. I got there 30 minutes before they opened and I'm glad I did, because people started lining up after me, and they had a consistent stream of customers while I was there. They seem very popular. Matt in the front office was very nice, and he explained what was going on with my car and what and why I needed things done. He worked with me on the price and I left extremely satisfied. The lobby was clean and the chairs comfortable. There are toys and books for if you need to bring your kids. There is also a customer bathroom. I would suggest bringing a sweater as the lobby was a bit chilly. I will definitely be returning here. They seem to be a well run operation.”
