“Great service done by the owner Joe himself. My boyfriend's 2013 BMW had some engine issues and needed some professional inspection done. We've gone to other BMW certified service centers and they all quoted different prices and others even adding services that didn't need work done. My boyfriend and I took his car and was surprised to see how detailed Mr. Joe was and how he was able to do a thorough walk-through of each services he had completed with all honesty. “Honest, knowlegeable, trustworthy and all the other words that describe a business we all like dealing with! We dropped my son's CRV off at Wal-Tec 10 minutes before closing for his next day appointment. I asked Jeff if he had time to take my 2004 CRV for a ride around the block. It started shaking at 35 mph. Jeff took it for a ride, looked underneath it, and told me that it looks like he was going to work over. I asked Jeff, "Why, because of me?" Jeff said that I wouldn't make it home. I told Jeff that if it broke down I would just call a tow truck. Even though they had all the cars in the garage for the night, Jeff proceeded to back out two of the cars so he could have a rack to work on my CRV. Thirty minutes later he walked in to the office and said, "Your car is done, it won't shake anymore." I drove it home and also a couple days later to Columbus and back, and it rode like a new car. Over five years ago, a car salesman at a Portage County car lot told me if I ever needed two Christian mechanics to work on my Honda, take it to Jeff and Jeff at Wal-Tec, you won't be disappointed. “This place is awesome! I showed up with a stealth hitch to be installed right after they opened hoping to make an appointment. Brett said they would do it that day and to give him a couple hours. He quoted me a VERY reasonable rough estimate and said he'd call when it was done. I believe it took a couple hours more than he thought it would. When I went to pick it up he charged me exactly what the rough estimate was. The work was spectacular and the service was even better! “I give this guy 5 Stars because of great price & speed mostly....but....he did a pretty good job as well. His shop is not much to talk about but its an older building in downtown Suffolk. He doesn’t really use or offer some of the “top of the line” tint plastics...just the basics. May have skipped some of the steps that cause other places to charge much more like heat shrinking it to the windows etc....but I have tinted several of my other cars & know that is not REALLY a necessary step to have a great looking finish that lasts many years. Tint doesnt usually last forever or will get scratched etc eventually so all I want is no bubbles or streaks & a good straight close line to window edges & top edge which this guy achieved very well. I would recommend anyone go there who wants a good job at a very reasonable price.”
