I needed a transmission fluid change for my Mercedes and stumbled upon this place while driving down venture Blvd. The owner John was very kind, communicative, and hospitable while speaking to him over the phone. I later would drop my car off and met his mechanic Varuzh. This guy Varuzh is hands down a legend. Probably the best mechanic I've met in my life no exaggeration. Born and raised in LA, I've met a lot of mechanics but no one comparable to this guy. Bright & intelligent, crafty & efficient, this guy truly loves what he does. “A couple of years ago a family member drove in from Utah for a visit. We were shopping when her vehicle stalled and would not start. We called this place because it was near by and I had used this place before and I had had a great experience previously. This guy drove to where we were started her vehicle and we were able to drive it to his shop. When he inspected it, he let her know what the problem was. She was low in income at the time and couldn't afford the part. I can't remember the exact problem but he was able to do some other things to it to help the main issue. He let her know she could still drive it but she would need to make sure she took care of it when she got home. That day he saved her the cost of a tow truck and his price for service was very good. My cousin was so greatful for his work and for him going above and beyond great customer service. Today I had an appointment to have my car's oil changed and filters changed. I was in and out within an hour. Price was also very compatible for the quality of service. Would recommend to anyone who needs car repairs. Just excellent customer service.”

“Baxter’s automotive is the place to go for all your car needs! But why? A small shop gives you the assurance that your car will get the time it needs to get the job done efficiently and not rushed. I also love that they physically show you the old parts they had to replace. Instead of just saying oh yeah! you definitely need new brake pads; at Baxter’s when they say you need new brake pads and show you a very worn down brake pad(my wife) you’ll be glad your brakes got saved at Baxter’s. We all know no car repairs/maintenance are ever dirt cheap, but hey don’t let the greedy shops get you down! Instead stop on by at Baxter’s where you can save your car and your wallet. “I have used SpeeDee for oil changes twice. The last time was just prior to the service I writing about. After I got my oil change and the fluids topped off, I noticed a lot of green fluid under my van in the garage. I thought it was a coolant leak. I took my van back up to SpeeDee to have them check to see if, in fact, I had a coolant leak. The mechanic, Brandon came over and did a pressure check on my system and found it to be okay with no leaks, however, he did see that my master cylinder was leaking and the green fluid under the van was hydraulic fluid it the master cylinder need to be replaced. I have a 1997 Ford E-150 handicapped van and the mechanic I was taking it to no longer wanted to service the van because of age and said it was hard to get parts. Not knowing if SpeeDee did that work, I let Brandon know my dilemma and he said he could change it out. Randy then let me know as the new manager, he opened up the mechanic side of the garage to start doing repairs. Randy got my estimate, we arranged a time for him to pick up my van and Brandon replaced the master cylinder and I also had them replace the auxiliary battery that runs my wheelchair lift. When the work was completed, Randy brought my van back to me. THAT IS GREAT SERVICE!!! I just found my new mechanic. Thank you Randy and Brandon. Oh, I don't want to leave out the rest of the crew that changed my oil. They are a great bunch of guys.”
