“Disclaimer: not all auto car wash can take your grime away from your car. The distinguishing factor from other car wash is their choice of unlimited car wash for a flat rate is great. I have been to this location twice I am ok with the clean output. The entrance to the car wash is just tricky. You have to get past the Wells Fargo ATM to get in. If your already prepaid it’s just simple scan in the machine to get in. After the car wash is done you have free vacuum stations, towels and glass and surface cleaner bottles that you can use to clean the interior.”

“I liked pretty much everything about Family Express. They had great products, many of them personally branded and healthy, an attractive store - but the real knockout product was the cashier, Tina. Family Express starts their cashiers at $15 an hour, and that maybe has something to do with why Tina has stayed in her job for 13 years. All the customers who came in while we were there seemed to know Tina and to like her a lot. It seemed like everybody had a compliment about something for her. She pays wonderful personal attention to people and talks to them so sweetly about their lives. She is a great teacher and helped me understand all the details of the coffee machine, with which I was not familiar, and just basically guided me through the store. I have found that in big cities black people often are afraid of dogs (I think because in poor black neighborhoods dogs are seldom kept as pets, but only as guard dogs - and are trained to be mean). Tina grew up near Valparaiso and knows and likes dogs, even though she does not have one herself. She was exceptionally sweet with my little service Chihuahua - and Pancho obviously liked her immediately. When I like a convenience store, I like to buy their store-branded coffee mugs - both because I believe in reusing a mug rather than throwing away a lot of paper or plastic, but also to show my loyalty to that company. Tina explained to me that the Family Express company truly was created by a family and outsources other parts of their stock to family businesses when they can. It looks from my GPS map like they are mostly clustered between Indianapolis and Lafayette Indiana. I will patronize them when I get a chance on the way up to Chicago. I highly recommend this company, but mostly I recommend Tina. If you get a chance to meet her, you may agree with me that she is not just an essential worker, but a world-class customer service professional. I encourage the Family Express company to contact the Apple Corporation and let them know that their GPS should not show the store as “permanently closed”. I don’t know how that came about, because the Google listing does show them as being open. Some other convenience stores in Indiana have a self-service state lottery machine, so that the cashier does not get tied up selling lottery tickets. I recommend that Family Express also adopt this system.”

“Shine Detailing performed a polish and sealant job on my black convertible ‘08 Jaguar XK and it looks like a showstopper now! I had tried myself with an orbital polisher but was never able to achieve anywhere near the results they achieved. They were able to remove all the swirl and haze lines in the clear coat that were really apparent from close up. Wish I had saved a lot of time and energy and gone to them when I bought the car 2 years ago. Cody was great and explained the process beforehand and the results exceeded my expectations. A lesson that sometimes we need pros for certain jobs when it comes to car maintenance.”

“I got my car cleaning today!! I paid $49.99 for VIP ultimate car wash. They cleaned it but not to the expectations. I had to go home and clean the dust from the cabin again. “Went there this morning to do my van. Had no idea how to work the machine the owner Michael saw that I was having question marks all around my head. Michael explained exactly the position of my credit card and if I wanted more time to press the button. Starting off with a rinse get the van nice and wet then go with the soap brush and then go with the rinse again. My van was so full of green algae that I did it twice all for $20. Next time I will give it the wax. There's no place that can take a van with a high top and put it in a car wash full service where you ride right through so I need to do it myself and it was well worth it the best 20 bucks I've ever spent. Of course you doing the car yourself but let's face it those car washes you go in and out of the using reclaimed water stinks in your car doesn't really get clean no one cleans your car the way you do. This place even has vacuums with fragrance and yes you do have to pay for them but it's well worth it. Thank you Michael for everything. I know where I'll be bi-monthly getting my van washed and waxed for a great price.”
