“This cemetery is well kept. I walk in this cemetery and I see people cutting the grass weekly. I notice that many of the bare spots in the grass now have grass growing so they must have changed something because in the past I saw a lot of bald spots. I've seen a lot of improvements over the last year. They even brought the hanging baskets with flowers back.”

“My grandparents, aunt, father, and now brothers are buried at East Akron Cemetery. I have worked with Wendy, the office person, who has always been helpful, kind and courteous. I've also dealt with Tim, the groundskeeper, who you can tell is dedicated to keeping the cemetery looking nice. Tim told me he cut grass in the cemetery as a teenager. In the last 5 years I have never gone into the cemetery and it was not looking good. My family lived in East Akron all of our lives, so when it came time for the final resting place, there was no other choice. It is a quiet, peaceful, beautiful cemetery, and I would definitely recommend it.”
