I never realized what true faith even felt like, until I attended Austin First Church. Plus, the free coffee alone is enough to make any hardworking single mom rejoice! Yet, the sermons, and the members are the real treasure there. Those people have overcome so many of the same battles I have faced, and am still facing in my life. These wonderful folks have taught me not only how to be a better person, but how to be the kind of Christian that Jesus would approve of himself. I went from being a holy terror, to being filled with the Holy Ghost. I learned to let go of the earth, and grab God's hand instead. He leads me back, every single service, and I am so grateful I trust him to do so...because attending is not only healing me, but healing my family as well. I may not know your struggle, or your current situation, but I do know that if you are reading this, then you must want something different right? Trust me... This place is different... in all the best ways possible. 🙂 So, when you are ready, it will be here for you, if you can just give it a chance. Take the time to prove me right, or wrong? Either way...
