“I'm a member at Good Shepherd, and I travel a little farther to attend because I think it's worth it. The pastor preaches Law and Gospel, and the message is consistently based on scripture (not politics or agenda). It's a small church, which means the pastor knows almost everyone and can make time for people -- even driving some distance for my convenience. The music is strongly traditional church music, which I like. Hymns and liturgy performed on either piano or organ. I became a member here because: • I think this church has good priorities and realistic expectations. • The pastor and members felt like family, but also from all walks of life. • This church tries its hardest to preach and follow the Truth of God's Word.”

“A friendly, cozy, small-town church that truly puts the principles of Jesus' teachings into practice. For example, they don't TALK about loving their neighbors, they DO it. As a small example, just this weekend, they went around the neighborhood around the church picking up trash. Everyone is friendly and NOT judgemental. The Pastor preaches in an informal manner from the Bible. He doesn't just read a verse and that's the last time he mentions the Word. Instead, the Bible is the center of every message he gives. As far as appearances and comfort go, the church as comfortable chairs instead of pews and a welcoming foyer with comfortable seating. Also, the worship area is air conditioned.”

“I took my client here for Sunday service. This is a small church with beautiful stained glass windows and the friendliest congregation I have ever seen- or even heard of!!! The building is historical, I'm guessing, and is darling inside with its own kind of elegance outside. The female minister? or pastor? (I'm unsure as to the correct title for the leader of this denomination) is charismatic and well-spoken and also very welcoming. She is also very thoughtful since she refused to shake hands or have physical contact with her congratulation because she wasn't feeling well. Check this church out. The service we attended was Sunday at 10:30 am”
