We've visited many times for family events like weddings, showers, reunions, services etc. Lots of room, nice parking lot, lots of room & handicap spaces. lots of older family are buried in their cemetery. There's a nice playground for the children. Really pretty place to get married. All in all a nice church to attend.”

“My husband and I have had a few defining moments in our marriage, one being the day we walked into Generation church in June of 2019. I’ve been going to church my whole life. I was raised teething on the pews. Never in my life have I been so excited to go to church. There is something so special happening at Generation. It’s alive! The people are so passionate about Jesus! The worship is awesome, preaching is challenging, encouraging and incredibly practical while being completely Bible-based! We’ve gotten involved with a life group and I finally feel like I have a community of women to surround me, lift me and and do life with, something I desperately needed when my boys were little! “I've been affiliated with this church for over 30 years. The current pastor, Terry Byrd, is a solid man of God that preaches the truth in love. The word of God has precedence over all and the exaltation of Christ is first and foremost. My wife and I were married in this church and we raised our children under the ministry of this local assembly and the under-shepherd of Pastor Byrd. I surrendered in 2009 to the call of God into the ministry and in 2013 stepped away from Layman's Chapel at the leading of God to pastor a church in Hillsborough. I love pastor and Mrs. Byrd! They are the real deal and are as faithful as you will ever see in a servant of Jesus Christ! We have many friends still at Layman's and stay in contact with them. Pastor Byrd is only the third pastor since 1964, a testimony to the faithfulness of this local New Testament church in this community.”

“My daughter attended this previous year and she had a wonderful experience. She learned how to write her name and socialize more. It was very organized and structured. They had show and tell once a week, a monthly calendar, snack, 3 field trips and etc. The church people were very nice as well, and give a lot to the community. Highly recommend!”
