“"I'm not worthy to be here, but praise God I belong!" I am thrilled, honored even, to write this review. First, as I overlook previous submissions, it is a reminder to me the power of the tongue. Giving both life and death. Unfortunate miscommunications and questions not asked. Things like that allow for accusatory discernment. Which can be so discouraging, even devastating. As a woman and mother, I want to say I am so relieved in how diligent the pastor is in making sure everyone is given a thorough background check when caring for the youth. That strict rules are implemented and respected by the nursery workers. I also have a child with special needs. They have made me feel so welcome and supported in spite of these personal challenges. You and your children are so welcome. We met Pastor Smith in a particularly stressful season in our life. I have to say, We feel like we struck gold. Pastor Smith and his church have been so patient with our family. Giving us so much help in all of our needs. Needs they didn't even know we had. Another important, if not the most important qualification we have been seeking when trying to find a church, is teaching of the written Word. My husband was active duty military for many years. I have lived all over the US. I fear Pastor Smith and his family may be one of a handful of people left who are diligent to teach and preserve the Holy Word. (Did I mention how much my family feels we struck gold?!) Make sure to ask questions when visiting. These people are precious, very humble people. I am so glad to be apart of such sweet fellowship. “June 17, 2001 we talking 21 years ago on Father's Day in Brooksville, Florida my husband and kids were HIT HEAD ON DURING A CAR ACCIDENT. Our car was totaled out and we had to get a hotel room. LET ME PAUSE and SHINE LIGHT ON HOW GOOD GOD IS.... The Spirit of God Had Sent and Open Vision BEFORE THE ACCIDENT OCCURED. I saw in an Open Vision 2/Tornadoes... One Tornado Was Black The Other Tornado Was White. Both Tornadoes Were Headed Toward Our Car Then The Open Vision Lifted Away. That SAME Day My Husband and Our 3 Kids Were HIT HEAD ON BY A (BLACK TRUCK) and A WHITE CAR. Tears Flowing the Black and White Tornadoes. GOD STOPPED DEATH and DESTRUCTION. Guess What???? There was a local church name Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church of Brooksville, Florida that had a couple.... Robert & Delois Taylor.... THAT COUPLE *COOKED *BAKED FOR ME and MY FAMILY WHILE WE WERE GUEST AT DAYS INN AFTER THE ACCIDENT. We was there ALMOST 2 YEARS AT THE HOTEL. Robert & Delois Taylor MADE TRIPLE SURE WE WERE WELL CARED FOR. NOW MT. PLEASANT MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH HAVE AS A GUIDE (THE SON) ROBERT TAYLOR and HIS MORE THAN LOVELY WIFE. “It’s a great place for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and hearing people with the knowledge of sign language to meet together for Sunday School classes at 9:15 am Sunday and worship service at 10:30 am Sunday. There haver a nursery and a daycare for babies and toddlers. Also, a wonderful gathering for young children and teens are awesome!”

“St. John's United Methodist Church is my second home. I want to be there every day. Pastor Jaime is a kind,caring,loving Pastor who always makes time to meet someone that is visiting for the first time. In addition he will always make time for his congregation members. Pastor will talk with you anytime you need him. Heidi is our front desk receptionist but, she is so much more. She too will take time to pray with you, talk you through a problem and calls to check on you if you are home sick. Krista Mulhollen is the Student Ministry Leader and she is amazing. When we started to attend Church and took my 15 year old son (at the time) she just took him under her wings. In addition to the other people that are part of Student Ministry . My son didn't have a relationship with God when we first started taking him to Church. He has been confirmed and Baptized for one year and his faith, undestanding and love for God makes my heart so very happy. He is now 17 and won't miss anything because he loves it so much. With the world we live in today, I'm so thankful he feels this way. From the minute you walk through the door there are warm smiling faces waiting to greet you and introduce you around. St. John's. We have our Spiritual home and family there. The Chuch plans many family fun events, Student Ministry events and Bible Study classes. We have one amazing week of Vacation Bible School for Pre-K-4th grade. 5th and 6th graders get to be JuniorGuides. High School age Students get to help out as well and earn Community Service Hours. Trish is the head of Christ 4 kidz for the younger students. There's always something for every age group to become involved with. I encourage you to come and visit us. We have three services on Sundays. 8am and 11am traditional service and 9:30 Contemporary Service. Our Praise band moves you and has the Congregation singing and Worshiping followed by a wonderful message from Pastor Jaime. The other two services have a beautiful Choir and together you sing traditional Hyms also followed by the Sermon from the Pastor. Go online to St. John's United Methodist Church and check out all of our Adult and Student classes. We also have lovely people that run the nursery for the little ones. If you are looking for a Church we invite you to come and see for yourself all the wonderful parts that make up St. John's.”
