“We moved to Franklin, TN from out of state about a year and a half ago. To find a welcoming community, we looked for a compatible church. We quickly found that church at Good Shepherd. The congregation and clergy were welcoming and embracing from the start. Both my wife and I have been able to engage in multiple volunteer and "social" activities. We have already met friends for a lifetime and look forward to deepening our relationship with both the church and fellow parishioners over the coming years. If you want to see a sample of what goes on there, I highly recommend the "formation" event that occurs between the 8 AM and 10:15 AM services on Sunday. We haven't been that engaged in that many thoughtful discussions since college (and that was a LONG time ago).”

“We can't say enough good things about this church. I like going before the 10:30 mass to say the rosary with everyone. If you have no idea about Latin Mass, just go and enjoy the high mass with all the incense and Gregorian chant. Intense peace, gorgeous choir. My hour or so of quiet, deep prayer. I've only been back to the Catholic Church for 2 and 1/2 and if I had known about the Latin Mass before quarantine, and been taught better growing up, I never would have left the Catholic Church. Grateful to be back and the priests are SO patient, kind and crazy smart!! My fiance is taking classes with the priest to become Catholic he loves it so much.”
