“Courthouses are known for not being great places to be, but the Katy Courthouse has a good system going on. I had to go in to pay a speeding ticket and it did take a while, but everyone was friendly and I appreciated the one-on-one feeling you get in the actual courtroom where you don't feel overwhelmed by all of the chaos going on around you. It's a nice small-scale, practical courthouse.”

“*I am rating my experience attending jury duty.* It was a surprisingly pleasant experience. The two gentlemen who were working in the juror room were helpful and respectable, and gave out clear explanations and instructions through the process. There was guest wifi, plugs, lots of magazines, and restrooms located inside the juror room. The room itself was a very clean and a comfortable temperature. Just a short bit away was an all around decent cafeteria. I picked up a sandwich, fries, soda, and candy for $12 and it was filling and enjoyable. We got lucky and got dismissed at 2 PM without anyone being called to the courtrooms, so I cant speak to that. I was nervous coming in this morning but overall it was a relaxing day and I got to catch up on some reading. Thank you to the staff at the courthouse that helped us make the best of having to report for jury duty.”
