“I have been searching for dentist in Fairfield area for a while, and saw good reviews and received a recommendation for Dr. Lewis. It was easy to schedule an appointment at this office. Overall, Dr. Lewis is kind, thorough, and patient. He gives his time to his patients and takes care of them well. He performed the cleaning. There was no dental hygienist during my appointment. I didn't take x-rays here because I forwarded my previous x-rays. I received a cleaning. I appreciate how Dr. Lewis goes over with all his new patients how to properly floss and appropriate technique. I also like how he allows his patients to choose which flavor of toothpaste they want used for the cleanings. I have a permanent retainer, and Dr. Lewis flossed between each tooth with a threader! This is something that I've noticed not all dentists do. At the end of my appointment, I got a goodie bag with floss, toothbrush, and toothpaste. Worth mentioning, since my 2 previous dental offices did not offer that. I have a procedure later this month with Dr. Lewis, so I will update my review then :D”

“Let me start by saying that I, like many, have always feared going to a dentist. On top of the apprehension, there is also a fear that some practitioners like to upsell work you may not necessarily need, but because you have good health insurance, they take advantage. Dr Powell was able to see me with an emergency treatment for a wisdom tooth impaction that was unbearably painful. His assistant, Regina, was courteous and very understanding of my fears. Dr Powell was able to treat me and explained to me every step of the treatment to ease my fears. Not only was the process smooth, but I was so well informed about my condition. There was no upsell of additional work to milk my insurance, but only the necessary treatment to help my condition. Everyone at the office was kind and courteous. You really felt like a patient and not a case number. If you are like me, and a little afraid of visits to the dentist, Dr Powell and his staff will treat you with understanding and provide you with a world class experience to help put you at ease for whatever treatment you need.”

“Dr. Fleer and his staff are terrific! Over 25 years ago he applied my braces, and I always get so many compliments on my teeth from regular people and dental professionals. He made a bite plate after an injury to make sure my enamel was protected from surface erosion due to grinding several years ago. I went back for a retainer check today, and it was wonderful to see everyone at the office. If you are looking for an orthodontist for your children/teens, or yourself, this is a fabulous choice.”

“Can’t say enough good things about dr. Amoah and his staff. As a Hampton roads native, who has been to many dentist in the area, this is by far the best dentist I’ve ever been to. From the beginning to the end. From speaking on the phone with his office to every hygienist I’ve seen, this is the kindest staff I’ve ever experienced at any doctors office or dentist. Dr. Amoah is so kind and patient and gentle and does excellent work. “I've never been to a dentist and not felt any pain! With Dr. Plaut even the shot to numb me did not hurt! Dr. Plaut is very gentle and patient. Myself and my children have been seen by him. He is very kind, patient and gentle with children! His pricing is very reasonable. He tells you what needs to be done before he does any work and what you can possibly wait on so he is not doing work you do not need right away just to get more money out of you. My family and I will keep going to Dr. Plaut until he decides to retire! I recommend everyone to go to Dr. David Plaut! You can usually get an appointment within the same week and he is open Sundays!
