I had talked with a couple of other companies who tried to sell me larger, expensive and noisier 24KW units but Rocky took the time to actually measure the current drawn by both my air conditioning units and found that a 14KW unit was perfect for my 3500 Sq. Ft. house. This Champion generator is quieter and cheaper than the 24KW Generac and comes with a 10 year limited warranty (twice what Generac offers). Rocky and his chief installer, Matt, had the generator mounted within 3 days of my order and patiently waited while CenterPoint Energy took 5 weeks to get my gas line installed. Rocky finished the job today with a startup lesson and instructions about my new generator.
