John and his colleague updated an exterior receptable, replaced an interior outlet, and installed five new exterior lights, including a post-mounted lamp. That lamp was in a newly installed garden bed and John was very careful not to damage the nearby plants. Excellent communication throughout. “Dan is OUTSTANDING - Dan is a professional owner operator - We had a semi emergency / had a short and fire inside the meter box outside of our house (Xcel energy was also awesome). Xcel said i needed an electrician to replace the meter socket before we would have electricity - so I called 5 electricians who didn't have a person available but instead I was referred by 2 separate electricians to Dan at DD electric in Monticello (in addition the Xcel Energy guy ended up coming up with the same name and number). I talked to Dan for a minute I had him talk to the Xcel Energy guy and Dan wrapped up another job and was here within an hour with the right parts - we were back in business within 3 hours of calling Xcel Energy - Dan could have financially taken full advantage of the situation but he didn't - just an all around hard working good person who is respected by his peers. Dan admits he only works every other weekend but the others just finished a job and said no - Dan finished a job and was ready for more : )”
