“Dear Fire Department, I was wondering if you could go by St. Joseph Church and sound your trucks as our past pastor is now at St. Joseph Catholic Church and misses the sound of the fire trucks from Holy Name Cathedral downtown on State. Just once in awhile until he gets used to the suburbs. Thanks, Dr. Eileen Knight, Parishoner at Holy Name”

“On June 3rd & again on June 9th, my husband called for an ambulance to take me to the hospital. By the 9th I was gravely ill & delirious. I ended up in ICU for 3 weeks & came very close to death from septic shock. I have no memory of most of that time, but my husband says I was in severe pain all over my body & couldn't walk (turned out to be a hip abcess requiring emergent surgery). The medics & engine crew carried me down a flight of 15 steps & carefully drove gently over speed bumps & around potholes to minimize my pain. We will be forever grateful.”

“This is an awesome firehouse located in the retro town of Clifton. One of the slower stations in the Fire Station. It's not only about quantity its quality also and when Clifton gets called out for a box it'll be something. This area is rural so it doesn't have hydrants in 90% of the area. This is the reason for having a tanker at this house. I was amazed when I first saw this station at how vintage the whole area around the station looked. Its like something out of the 70's. I couldn't believe it was in Fairfax County. Clifton is a historic district and so is the firehouse. There is a lot of history hidden in those walls. The house consist of an Engine, Medic, Brush, and Tanker. ”
