“I fell in my kitchen and knew I was not going to get up without help. My husband dialed 911 - in under 10 minutes two firemen were in my kitchen with the stretcher. They could not have been more kind than they were. I am very grateful for the way they took care of me and got me to the emergency room with a minimum of pain and a lot of encouragement. Thanks also to the city of Kirkwood for the quality of men and equipment they provide to serve Kirkwood residents.”

“THANK YOU for stepping up and rescuing these babies when no one else would!! Numerous people have been calling animal control and the police for days to get these dogs out of this situation. Animal control already went out, couldn’t get in contact with the owner, and left them like that. I reported it yesterday and the responder told me animal control was already on their way from getting so many callers, but I’m not sure if they were going to ignore the situation again. I recited how they were violating the Los Angeles Municipal Code and California tethering laws, leaving these dogs in a severely neglected and endangering situation too. A Good Samaritan was keeping watch of the situation and feeding them, as their owner ignored them for 3 days. Others who passed by just threw things at them and ignored them. We need more people like you guys!!! ❤️”

“I called Green Two FD because my smoke alarm kept going off (just moved in beginning of December, using microwave most of the time). It was too close to the kitchen so they put in a new (old one was hard wired). Then the new one started going off every 7 minutes or so. I had to have them come back. It was defective. New one works fine. They were very helpful & professional. Thanks, guys!”
