“Need to fill grill propane tank. Had been going to UHual as many places don't fill 5 Gal tanks any more you have to exchange them via blue rhino. Saw Varso Gas station propane which was easy to get my 5 Gal tank filled in just a few minutes. Also saw thier gas prices were same and the Von's gas just another .5 mi down on Center City Parkway. Von's is frequently very crowded and backed up causing lines 4-6 cards deep for each lane of pumps. Have not seen Varso near as crowed. Little neighborhood gem here.”

“This is my favorite local gas station/ convenience store. The employees are super friendly and always greeting new faces. What I love the most is that the manager and assistant manager have been there for years and care about their customers, even the newbies are friendly! The managers take the time to get to know "the usuals," like me and my father, who come in often. It's that kind of place you see in TV shows where the friendly local store staff greets people by name, and that store you've always wished you had in your area- that's THIS store for me!! I can go in and it is crazy as all get out and someone will always be saying hi to people as they come in. One day during a particularly busy time, and on the rare occasion a gal was working alone (Maria) because someone called out sick, & the line was backed up about 10 people deep! Maria didn't panic or get frustrated she went above and beyond to pace back & forth between BOTH registers to try & check people out faster!! If THAT isn't customer service I don't know what is!! It has had it's ups and downs over the years losing employees & unknowingly hiring some bad eggs but if you had a bad experience there- you should give them another shot. There are really great people working there!! Plus their drink selection and refills (even the very largest size is only $.86 WITH tax for I think 64oz!) Please "like" this review if you agree or just find it helpful in anyway. I want to spread the word that they deserve more than 1 star from 1 person. They're a wonderful local gas station for anyone to stop at!”

There is another gas station right next door, I usually go to whichever is cheaper at the time, or depending where I am heading, many times I choose this one, if the other is too busy. Never a bad experience, the staff is friendly and helpful, every time I went I had a fun conversation w the ppl behind the register. It’s right in the hot spot on Gaffey, before getting into town, literally across from the 47fwy ramp, around the corner from the 110fwy ramp, in between the San Pedro Animal Shelter & Clinic, and DMV, Target, Home Depot. Also across from a fabulous place to it, Big Nick’s Pizza.”
