“I've been going here for a decade for my haircuts. Her English isn't the best speaking wise, but let tell you, she gives a quality haircut. You don't see that many independent barber shops nowadays as they are being taken over by big business. This is indeed a small business, and the barber despite her age, has surgical hands, I challenged her in a game of mercy, and let tell you, I lost. In her off time she is a naturally talented artist and painter, so what I'm saying is, she has a great imagination, and she employs this gift with her haircuts. With the recent business shutdowns due to COVID-19 which unfortunately hit her business hard, she is trying to recover, and I thought I'd post this review for her, to see if I can get more customers to the door. Please check it out, also don't let the Korean wording deter you in the front of the business this isn't just a "Korean targeted barber shop", she has been in the country for over 30 years, and loves the challenge it brings to give a unique haircut to her clients.”

“I went to Jenna for my first experience at this salon, and it had been about 2 years since having my hair done. I was a little nervous at first, as I am going to each new salon, always hopeful but not ever quite walking out 100% happy. I hardly ever get my hair done, being a full-time working mom, I just don't have the time to take for myself that often. Jenna took the time to talk to me about what I wanted and help me pick out colors, spent time meticulously placing the highlights and lowlights, was super pleasant to be around the whole time and always asked if I needed anything before letting my hair process for a few minutes. She cut my hair perfectly. She stayed late to make sure every detail was perfect - I was there for over 3 hours but she never rushed any detail or made me feel like it was an inconvenience for her to stay late. I walked out of the salon feeling brand new and the next day I'm still 110% happy with my hair. It was worth every penny and every minute. It sounds silly but it's hard to find someone I can trust with my hair, and I definitely feel like I've found that with Jenna, and will certainly be going back the next time I need a refresh. 10/10 would recommend going to Jenna!”

“Double hair salon is a really great place to go to get your haircut. The staff there is the best in town. One way to make sure you get the haircut you like is to bring in a picture of what you would like your hair to look like and then they’re very good at matching the picture. “Okay, my review is waaay overdue (I'm so sorry!) but I just want to start off by saying YOU'RE SO AWESOME, PANG!!! She is incredibly hilarious with the most honest and sweetest personality. Booking Pang: I found her on Yelp! I wanted to book an appointment with someone who has worked with Asian women's hair before and someone who will hopefully understand what I was looking for in a haircut. Her schedule was at least a week and a half out and every time I tried to book something, it would say that it was already taken!! Crazy, but I thought that that was great! Her schedule was getting filled quick because that meant SHE DOES GREAT WORK and people want to book with her! The process was quick and easy, and once it got closer to my appointment, I received reminders which were very very helpful! The Studio: Her studio is so cute! Pretty chic and modern, in my opinion! Her plants add a cute fresh touch to it! It was very tidy and before my appointment, I even saw her sanitizing everything from the chair to her tools. Awards, pictures of her and her friends and of her previous work can be found up on the walls surrounding the studio which was really cool to see! There was kpop playing in the background during my appointment and lemme tell you, it was the viiibe!!! The Appointment: I booked Pang for a (overdue) hair cut for the first time ever and I do NOT regret it. I had looooong (maybe about a foot and a half long. It grew passed my butt!), damaged, and unhealthy hair. I told her I wanted a few inches cut off, layers, something similar to a Korean drama's main character's hair. I also told her I wanted curtain bangs but was too afraid to commit because when I tried to center part my hair at home... OH MY GOD I WAS HORRIFIED. (My hair is so use to be parted from the side so parting it from the center was an absolute nightmare for me.) Pang gave me the most helpful tips that I never ever would've thought of. The entire time, we were talking almost nonstop! It felt as if we had known each other and I just felt so comfortable with joking around with her. After she was finished, I literally almost cried tbh. For the longest time, I thought I'd look so gross with a different hairstyle or with bangs but she's got some magic hands. I got exactly what I wanted. Layers. Curtain bangs. Shorter hair. I didn't have to commit to a CENTER part. I didn't think that just parting my hair slightly off center could make such a huge difference but it did!! I was SO in love with it. At the end of the appointment, I was already talking to her about booking a second appointment for coloring hehehe. If you've reached this far, thank you for taking the time to read my review for Pang. I've attached pictures of my hair from before (taken sometime in July 2021) and then after (Right after my appointment Sept. 25, 2021) TLDR; My appointment went SUPER WELL and was so worth it! So if you're still debating... just book the appointment with Pang!! She's amazing because she gave great hair tips, is super hilarious, and is brutally honest. Thanks again, Pang!
