Rankin's has a pretty substantial stock of hardware and boating tools. The prices tend to be on the high side for some items. But they do have good sales. They also carry a lot of seasonal items so when you need Christmas lights, they can help. Not as much variety as a big box store but the hardware is high quality.”

I consider myself well versed in most home improvement tasks so don't know the level of expertise around the departments. However, when rebuilding my fireplace/mantle I did have technical questions involving painting masonry and Robert from the paint department nailed the answer and was very knowledgeable. Have never found an empty shelf(other then sales items) and always fast checkouts and quick service.”

The store manager went above and beyond trying to find me a replacement since that particular fan isn't carried by NT anymore. He called me several times over the following days to update me and let me know what was being done. As fans are out of season, corporate will order one for me and ship it directly to my house. I haven't experienced this type of personalized customer service in a very long time. I am becoming a big fan of this store. I have purchased other items from this store and they seem to carry the "stuff" for farm needs plus the prices are reasonable.”
