“Our real estate agent recommended RBC Construction because she had heard of good results from her clients, especially those who had vintage homes needing special attention. From the initial meeting with Rob Bierma (of RBC), we felt that he was someone we would like to work with. He was friendly, straightforward, and knowledgeable. We were also happy that he was able to get the ball rolling on having plans drawn up for our remodel right away. During the design process, we were pleased with his attention to detail when it came to answering our many questions. During the build, it was nice to have him recommend some things we had not considered, like re-chroming the shower rod so that we could keep the old (rusty) original. He also found a skilled artisan who could remove an ugly floor heater and patch the hole with the fancy floor boarding style used in the original floor. Like most projects, it took longer than the proposed 12 weeks, but that is often the nature of construction, especially at this very busy time in the building industry. The final product is something we are very pleased with, and on looking back on the whole process, we can say that we would use RBC Construction again and feel confident recommending them to family and friends.”

(Payless) Walked in and TJ Matgen was so friendly, even though they no longer had a show room, he let me try some different chairs and talked to me about all of the pros and cons of each chair. We had our 24-year-old primary bath remodeled including removing the shower/tub insert and creating a walk-in tiled shower (complete with two niches and a separate dog wash station), added plumbing for a new double vanity, and new flooring, paint, lighting, baseboards, etc. The quality of work is exceptional (even a couple of extra things we asked for along the way)! They were on time and swept up behind them on their way out every day. We signed a contract with milestone payments which made us so comfortable. “My friend and I went to replace the spout on the shower yesterday and while rotating the old spout we broke the copper pipe. I called affordable plumbing, spoke with Will and asked if he could arrange for a quick service call. Within an hour Will sent one of his plumbers to solder a new piece of pipe. The work was done in a reasonable time and for a competitive rate. Based on my experience I would recommend affordable plumbing for residential work.”

My tub had chips and scratches, and rather than spending tons of money to replace it, I decided to find a company to re-finish it. The Tub Company did a great job. They were quick to contact me after I purchased the coupon on Angie's list, and were able to get to the job quickly as well. After rescheduling due to weather, Scott arrived to re-finish the tub. He was courteous and professional, and by the time he was done it looked like I had a brand new tub! I could not be happier with the result.
