“My husband take his Jean's and shirt to get washed and heavy starched and pressed. He has been using Five Star for the past 15 years. I had been looking for a shoe shop to repair my heel in one of my pair of boots. My husband saw that Five Star does shoe repair. So I took one pair of my boots. When I went to pick up my boots. I was super excited on what a great job they did to repair the heel. It was repaired to the actual type of heel that it was made of. When they hand made these boots. They even shined my boots and they looked brand new again. I highly recommend Five Star for shoe repair. They will restore your boots and will look brand new again. “Not bad pricing and evening time is not agood time to go but if you do bring a fold out chair because it's busy with Minimal seating. Restaurant next door is generally open the same time it seemed. Didn't kick out if your machine is still going which some places will. The lady was cleaning while i was there. place seemed well kept despite some machines not working. The more you put it in the dryer the longer it will take to dry but the small dryers hold alot! Was given the refund from the machines that took my change. Needs to unlock the bathroom and needs soap in it. 4 big washers for 3.50 and 4 big dryers 1.00 for 28 min(i think)..i didnt use dryers i used the small ones 1.25 for 30 minutes”

“I'm a regular have this washateria I go at all types of hours and it's always very clean and the owners are very nice and friendly one time I need a change for a dollar but the machines were down so the owner traded me and he asked me what was I trying to get out of the machine and I told him fabric softener and he said give me $0.50 and I will give you some of my personal so you can have some for next time it was a very nice gesture it's what keeps me coming back”

“My carpet was just filthy - lots of high-traffic dirty areas. Low-and-behold, Sam got it clean! I only have 2 carpeted rooms, so I couldn't take advantage of his "Five Rooms for $80" special, so he only charged me $40 for both rooms! No ridiculous minimum charges! And, since the previous owners who installed the carpet "went cheap", Sam gave me pointers on what to look for in the future when I install my own new carpet, everything from the best type of carpet fiber, to padding, to fiber guard.
