“One of the better libraries that I've used. Very friendly and helpful librarians. I often use the online county share system to get all I want in a couple days to pick up here. Good collection of fiction best sellers, large print, nice kids section and weekly kids club, lot so of music CDs. There are also frequent free events in the community room and a rotating art wall / gallery. Some reviews wrote its noisy, but it has very quiet study rooms and the back is very quiet.”

“The “children’s” librarian is very helpful in talking with youngsters (5th grade-8th grade) in recommending books or series for them to read after talking with them about what they like and what has been read in school that the could “see” a movie in their head as the were reading and also in telling them how far to read into the book (in page numbers NOT chapter numbers) to make sure whether they were going to be interested in finishing the book or not.”

“Friendly librarians. The selection is limited because it's a small town library, but you can reserve and have delivered anything from the greater LaPorte library system.”

“I work at the Ralph E. Hazelbaker Library and I've never worked at a better, cleaner, safer place in my life. It was my DREAM to work here! The people I work with are amazingly generous, selfless and caring. We offer programs to our community at absolutely no charge and do everything on a small-town budget. We work hard to provide our patrons with the best possible service at all times. My co-workers are absolutely wonderful people who genuinely care about the community and the people in it! I've worked here for THREE years. I know what I'm talking about. Come visit for yourself and see! ;-)”

“Very helpful staff. They always help you find what you looking for. I like to go there instead if the TLCC, which is across the door building. The reason why is because of their weak confidence. Also, they are there just to work for $$$$ bit to help students. I fell they had to choice just to come here and deal with what they have to deal with. On the other hand, the staff of the library are more welcoming, more helpful, and way nicer. I just do not understand why they and the TLCC are not the same way in helping PSC students in general. All the staff should be behaving the same way toward every student. There should not be any discrimination besides on; color, sex gender, nationality, religion, culture, and language. We are all human being. No one is better than other. Let us all RESPECT each other.”

“Fabulous staff, who take the time to get to know each patron. Renovated spaces for reading, browsing, and meetings. For a small library, a great selection of books -- and help from the librarians if you're looking for something else. Lots of community oriented offerings, from reading with a friendly dog to learning how to save seeds to talks on history.”

“What a delightful library and program! Staff are very nice. Lots of homework help here and community support. Free books to go. It was easy to park a giant wheelchair-lift van in the parking lot. Has a nice bicycle rack. Most students walk here from local schools. Would be about a mile and a half walk from RIPTA route 54.”
