“This library has been my go to library for my entire life. It has grown so much from where it used to be. The library offers crochet, free movies and homework help. The computers have great software and the librarians are always willing to help. I have completed many school projects there. I am not saying this library is perfect but when it comes to libraries and I have visited many libraries from evergreen park, to park forest this one is my favorite.”

“The Friends Of The Library Bookstore is fabulous for finding next to new books and videos for a great bargain. And the ladies that run it are So Sweet! As for the Heritage Library itself, it is a great resource. Has very helpful employees to help find what you need. However, when it comes to being a place to TRULY and properly study, it is ALWAYS Far From Quiet. There is always 2-5 tables full with tutors. And people talking in normal voices, answering phones, or children running a muck. It is the closest library for the current needs. Ultimately I prefer to go to the Mission Viejo City Library where they have study rooms with closed doors, and they keep it quiet.”

“Those of us who live in Avalon are soooo lucky to have our 5 Star Library. They have long hours which enables everyone who works to get there. Their books, movies, programs are all top notch. They are unique in taking care of the owners and even those who vacation during the summer. Everyone there in not only super friendly but go out of their way to help you. If you have not been to Avalon's library, you should put it on your list when you are in town to go see!”
