“The staff is very friendly, and helpful. They have a decent selection of books, CD's, DVD's, and comics. It could definitely be larger, hence the 4-star rating. They also have a 3D printer, with classes. They have fun children's programs. One of the best things is they started carrying friends and family memberships for multiple arts and recreation facilities, including the Battleship New Jersey and the Garden State Discovery Museum, to name a couple. You can check them out and visit the places for free.”

“Great library with great selection. Staff is very helpful and the kids area is a nice place to take the kids for an hour or so. The music and DVD sections have good selections and you can always ask them to request something from the network of public libraries. There are also online tools that can be used. Great option for the community. ”

I get emails about holds that I have available, reminders of when books are due, and when I have to have books from other libraries sent her the delivery is always fast. “The library is very nice clean and spacious. The employees are very nice and helpful there is always a open computer if needed. There's loud kids there playing video games on the computers but if you asked them to quite down they will for about 15 minutes other then that great library.”

“Great Small but resourceful library right by my neighborhood I come here with my kids, quiet and clean. Staff is very helpful and smile when they assist. I come here to pick up my books I have placed on hold and its very organized. During the Holidays they have arts and crafts and Santa for the kids. Very grateful for our library with free books to borrow. Oh yesss they are in great condition.”

“The Gladwyne Free Library is a treasure trove of local resources. The staff are generally very friendly and helpful, I wanted to find out about local history and they gave me access to a box full of newspaper clippings and articles on the local history of Gladwyne. I learnt more in that one day going through the box and their local history resource room with maps and almanacs than for the last couple of years living here. There is a great variety of books, cds, dvds here as well for any of the usual library requirements as well as a great children’s section downstairs that also has a computer for young children to use. On certain days there are also events for children and you can get family passes here for Philadelphia museums and galleries.”

“Beautiful old library with a cozy warm atmosphere. Several comfy chairs next to the fireplace imparts a homey feeling. Old wooden bookshelves filled with books, and a very nice and cheery children's section with colorful wall decorations. A library where you would want to spend a snowy day reading Robert Frost. The stairs up to the library even has an elevator chair for those who can't climb!!”
