The door needed a new lock assembly, however he explained the reason why the original had failed (several years old); the door had dropped putting stress on the locking mechanism. “Had to get several keys made and the local locksmith closed shop for good. The locksmith's website referred anyone seeking having a key(s) made to hunt down a KeyMe kiosk at a local grocery store. I went and found it up front with other kiosk/vending machines. I inserted the key as instructed and chose the number of keys I needed and kept going. I had too many keys to make on the spot, so I agreed to have them mailed to me. Paid with plastic and went home and waited. Can't remember how many days until delivery but not too many. Opened up the package and ALL the keys worked flawlessly. I'm happy, and will use KeyMe again.”

“I'm writing this at 2am on a Wednesday. I quite literally JUST moved into my new apartment today and have been going back and forth all day from my old apartment to my new apartment unloading and loading with the movers and such. When I first entered my apartment I was told the door doesn't lock behind you. This clearly was not the case or the lock/door completely broke. I was locked out at 1:30 AM in a new area and new building I'm not familiar with. The super of my building wasn't answering and everyone was asleep. My purse was locked inside with my wallet and all my belongings. Thank God I had my phone in my hand because I searched on Yelp immediately for a 24 hour locksmith. Within a few minutes I called Urgent Locksmith and a dispatch told me that someone would be calling me back shortly. The technician that came to service my unit is Mo.... And Mo is a locksmith God!!! He literally saved me-- he got to my building in under 20 minutes and replaced my lock all within a half hour total. They honestly should give him a raise because he's extremely fast, talented and it's apparent he knows exactly what he's doing. Seriously just always remember "Urgent Locksmith" and type it in whenever you're in a panic and locked out. I still can't believe I'm back in my apartment this fast. Solid company, just wow.”

“Used their kiosk at a local Frys. Was easy to use myself. Took some time to have 5 keys cut of same key. But that would be expected. Did have an issue that the first 3 or 5 keys didn’t work in lock. So I referred to their contact on the receipt emailed to me to try and get resolved. The link for submitting an issue was very easy and straightforward. I was even able to attach images to help show issue. Within a day my request was handled and I was issued a refund for keys not working. No going back and forth at all. Things will happen and they just make sure to handle quickly and efficiently which provided a very positive customer experience. I would recommend trying their kiosks again.”

“I never in my life imagined that needing a reliable locksmith could be such an emotional ordeal…but boy, have I learned a lot. My 8-year-old son and I were in Jacksonville to finish clearing out a home I’d recently sold. We spent the day and well into the wee hours of the morning moving stuff into the neighboring storage unit. And as luck would have it, sometime before the very last trip, the keys disappeared. Since the sale was closing that day, I’d left all my house keys on the kitchen counter during our final departure and could not return the stuff to the house. So I had no choice but to wait to get into the storage unit. We do not live in Jacksonville, so neither could I return home until this was resolved. I called every single locksmith in Jacksonville that said 24/7 emergency services…and I’m here to tell you, THAT is an outright lie. They may take your phone call in the middle of the night, but they have absolutely no intention of sending a technician to resolve your problem. No matter if you’re stranded in a dark parking lot with a young child. Half of the businesses didn’t even answer the phone. One gem of a tech told me that he was on the way….and then never showed. The rest of the companies I called said they could send someone in 5 or 6 hours. (Next time I PLAN to have an emergency, I’ll be sure to contact them.) I can’t say that Jax Locksmith Pro would’ve responded in the middle of the night, in spite of their website saying 24/7 service, because I didn’t call. They didn’t show up when I searched for 24-hour locksmith for some reason…only when the morning rolled around and I started searching for “locksmiths near me”. So I can only rate them on the experience I did have. I called just around 8am and the girl on the phone was so incredibly kind. The tech called within minutes. And what’s more, he called me 30 minutes later to re-assure me he was on the way. That was huge. Once he arrived, he very clearly knew what he was doing and I was in my unit in minutes. This night takes the cake for THE most stressful night of my life. I cried at the stupidity of the situation, at being constantly misled by sham companies, and at the overall feeling of helplessness. I am very grateful that Jax Locksmith Pro was able to save the day by dispatching someone immediately and by staying in regular contact.”
