“Super cool trail and well marked. We did about 6.4 miles and it took 2 hours to complete. The blooms right now are amazing. According to the map it loops around. Not sure though. According to some other hikers once you get higher up the path it isn’t so well maintained. Maybe next time. And don’t forget your adventure pass or $5.00 cash. Luckily we met some really cool people in the parking lot that let us borrow cash. We repaid him via Venmo 😉”

“I love staying at Lake Medina! I stayed in the cabins and they are nice. I liked going on hikes and being able to see the wildlife out there. Then being able to come back, take a swim in the pool and end the night by our campfire. The cabins have everything you need. Fridge, stove, pots, pans etc. The cabins are really clean and the beds are great! They're spacious and nice to relax in.”

“Great place to stay in Oakland on a budget. Cassandra is really nice and the proximity to the BART is really nice. Not in a great neighborhood though, so wouldn't recommend going out at night. Felt safe in the house though and the other guests were all friendly. Best part is that Cassandra bakes some times! Today I had peach cobbler tacos. :)”

Grounds kept clean and manicured, and the price was reasonable. Cons: 1 Odd number sites water and electricity hook ups are shared so they are on front side. Bring electrical and water extensions, 2 No picnic tables and fire pits at your site, there is a huge firepit near the lake, very nice, few picnic tables near the lake but they go fast. We Will Be Back!”

“I needed a spot to stay for the night, and found this place. The owner was very nice when I made my reservation on the phone. She called me back about 10 minutes later that the cabin she was going to have me stay in was not available but gave me another cabin. The room was beautiful friendly bright and cheery. It has nice personal touches coffee, tea, creamer. Towels were soft and fuzzy, the bed was amazing after a long day working on the trails in the Olympic National Forest. I would highly recommend staying here, and will stay here again very soon! I felt like I was being catered too, and not just renting a room for the night. The view was awesome too!”

“4.5 stars for what it is. Well kept lot with FULL hookups. There is a train track behind so you might hear that horn in the overnight hours. There’s a park for kids just down the block with short paved loop to walk dogs. Few eating places close by you could walk to if you don’t want to unhook. We stopped in for an overnight stay driving home from CO. Archie, the owner, was very nice he will meet you on-site. Give him a call (no website) Make sure to have CASH or check for payment.”

“Lazy H Lodge is simply the perfect stay. We just left after a week's stay and cannot speak highly enough of this property. We had come in for a wedding and had family from around the country fly in to stay as well. It was perfectly located between Austin and San Antonio, allowing for everyone to make the best airline choice for them. In hill country and near canyon lake, the location was perfect. The house itself exceeded all expectations. Open, comfortable, designed to bring people together. The kitchen was very well equipped, beds comfy and plenty of linens. The hosts, Rex and Kathy, were tremendous and went out of their way to make our stay exceptional. We can't wait to visit again.”

Our 3 day getaway was highlighted by a marina full of water activities. We rested in the tranquility of watching birds, fish and the sunset on the deck. The Houseboat's tight quarters brought us closer together. Forever grateful to God and wonderful Host Will. This want to do became a reality in 2022!! Loved it!!”

“Great little RV park. Location is near shopping, and the stadiums where the Royals and Chiefs play. Only a 15 minute drive to downtown Kansas City and 20 minutes to the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art and the Country Club Plaza. The owner is very hands on and helpful. He did all of the hookups and set me up for surviving a KC winter. This is a great space for those who need a space for short term (3 to 6 months) or longer. I have even seen a few overnights come through, but I would think you would rather stay at the Walmart up the road. I have a 24' Motorhome, but I see many travel trailers and big 5th wheels. All spots are back up, no drive throughs and there is a spot to park your auto.”

I am a little confused about the bad reviews about the food and management but maybe it is a culture difference. If you are not used to asian food and interaction then that may be it.”

“My family just stayed on the farm as we were passing through and what a fun filled time we had! Having three kids, traveling anywhere gets tiring for them and this was a relief for them to get out, run around and check out the animals. Amanda and Bill are awesome hosts! They taught and showed our kids about the animals some of the property and Amanda gave us a tour riding the atv around the property to see the cows. They are so welcoming and kind, that my kids hated to leave, they consider her family now! And this was only one day! Definitely a place to go for a peaceful and fun stay away from home.”
