“The wife and I came in today around 2pm, we were the first to sit down in the dining room near the full liquor bar that they have. It Seemed extremely quiet. However, much to our surprise the food came out super quick and it was so delicious. We got a D19 and a order of House Fried Rice (The White Yang Chow Fried Rice). I can tell everything was made fresh to order. The only thing that came out of a steamer was the Pork fried rice for the D19 combo plate which most Chinese restaurants do anyway for their combos. They will usually make fresh pork fried rice to order when you order it all on its own. The Waiter who served on us was an older Asian man who was super friendly. I can only assume he was the owner. He really seemed to care about our experience here. There was an old Chinese restaurant in East Providence called young China that was in Chen family for many generations and I was deeply saddened when it closed. This experience brought me back to my youth when I would get Chinese with my father every Friday. Bamboo express, you are hidden gem. Thank you for the experience.”

“I'd never been here before, despite having worked just down the road for years. I was excited to try them, and they had a certain reputation and expectations that preceded them for me, that they easily exceeded when I got there. I only wish it was a tad less expensive, so I could eat there more often. But being that my budget issues are not their fault, I didn't hold this against them. What you get for what you pay is more than adequate, and the flavors are BOMB. I got their smoked chicken bacon ranch sandwich, which is HIGHLY recommended! They have a cute covered outdoor seating area with a rad mural to look at, and the owners were extremely friendly and chatted up their customers! The reason for 4 stars is because we watched the person handling our food with her mask hanging well below her nose and most of her mouth, while doing lots of heavy breathing and talking to other staff as she was hustling to get the orders out. After 2+ years dealing with covid variants, it just astounds me that so many people still refuse to wear their masks the right way, especially when handling other people's food. 😬”

“I wish I knew the young girls name who works the window early afternoon when I come by (she has short black hair with sides shorter and top a bit longer) because she knows mine! She has learned I like my cone after I get my drink and occasional poppers. She gives me the 2 preferred napkins and always has a friendly smile and happy demeanor. “Full disclosure: I work here. In all honesty this is the most efficient and clean of all the restaurants I’ve worked at over the years. The food is… well, it’s Domino’s: not really any better or worse than other locations though the current staff deserve your patronage (and MASSIVE tip) more than most. I would like to note that delivery drivers make MUCH LESS THAN minimum wage and therefore literally depend on your generous tips for their living. Furthermore, relatively recent changes in the percentage of tips that are “credit” means they only wind up receiving 75% of your tip unless you tip cash. And lastly, drivers ONLY receive your tip and are just barely compensated for their mileage (which on the average delivery amounts to little over $1): they DO NOT receive any portion of the delivery fee. They have to buy their own gas, insurance and vehicle maintenance/payments ALL out of YOUR tips and HOPE to have enough left over to pay rent, feed themselves and their family, etc.”
