“I have lived in Santa Clara California for 18 years since I married an American, before I lived in Kauai where I learned to appreciate Japanese culture and food. That's why whenever I can I choose start with edamame, miso soup, then sushi, sashimi, tempura, salmon or a classic bento box . Many weekends we go to different areas of the bay, Capitola is one of my favorites, especially in summer. We go to this restaurant for dinner, the atmosphere is incredible. They have many tables inside a very spacious room, there are always nice people, I love the decoration the quality of the food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable . They have vegetarian options and a good tea selection. The staff is friendly, professional the service is fast. I highly recommend this place for a fun moment with great food.”

“This location is new and really nice. They have some fun touches like high top seating or regular table seating. They have places to charge your phone which is nice if your there for lunch. The interesting thing about this location is that it’s connected to a gas station which is great because you can walk over and grab some beer or soda next door. The pizza here is good and you can usually find a coupon somewhere. The place is fun for kids because they have a little step up ladder that lets them see what’s going on. If you did want delivery they have that option as well.”

“I was looking for someone or some place that makes panipopo and panikeke. My pastor put me on to Poly Grill. They certainly lived up to their reputation. It was really easy to place my order for panipopo and peach pies by phone. A deposit was required so I paid by CashApp. I asked if there was a possibility of picking it up early. The lovely young lady said she would call me when it's ready. True to her word, she did. I got there right beforr closing time. One of the reasons I love Poly people is because of their hospitality and generosity. They threw in some extra desserts. That was so surprising and much appreciated. They also loaded everything in my car. Everyone at the party tonight raved about how delicious both desserts were. Their panipopo is not too sweet, perfectly fluffy and coconut creamy. We had two chefs present that kept asking "Who made this? This is so delicious. Where are they located?" Thanks to the hook up, the fire dancer (only Poly person at the party) was able to take home her own trays. Excellent customer service and food to match? I'm definitely going to be a repeat customer.”

“They have an insanely large variety of items to shop for. Any "convenience item," you might need and they most likely have it! They also have plenty of hot and fresh food, quick grab n go cold food, coffee/coffee accessories, a large variety of fountain drinks, and so much more. “This is my favorite go-to place (DC, Georgia Ave) when I want to have brunch and extend breakfast to lunch. The restaurant opens at 10:30AM so I order then and this meal can last into dinner because of the portion size. Although in this pic there are only 4 potatoes and a few pieces of meat, typically they include more meat and potatoes. Nevertheless, this "dinner" usually comes with curry chicken, cabbage and rice but the rice is too crunchy so I choose to double the rice. The food is delicious 😋.”
