“On a 40 degree day in January we were still able to appreciate the expansive grounds deCordova sits on. The indoor exhibits were interesting, though I felt myself wishing the decor called back the time period of the deCordova castle similar to the way things are handled for the interior of the Isabella Stewart Gardner museum. We kept seeing pictures of how parts used to look, but then a garden patio would be bare or a room would be white-walled to look like an exhibit hall, not a room in a castle. It was a little muddy in places due to recent weather but the views ranged from pretty to breathtaking as we moved from one outdoor installation to the next.”

“I had some stamps from my grandfather. I called the museum and was able to get some guidance as to what to do on the phone. Truly kind and knowledgeable staff. I had been to one other appraiser who said he'd review the stamps. I drove an hour and a half to see him, and he didn't even bother to open the books completely, he just saw a few, then disregarded the whole collection. My day was wasted as I had to drive through Boston traffic to get to him. If you're looking for a kind and honest review with lots of cool facts and details in the history of the stamps, this is the place to call or go to. I'm definitely planning a visit to the museum now, just to check it out after this great experience and meet the staff. I'm happy to say, even though my collection maybe not be of much value, they are very gorgeous stamps, and will make a beautiful piece of art for my apartment that I'll always remember my grandfather by. I think I just might have caught the stamp collecting bug!”

“Had my son's birthday party here. Good spacious place for 15 kids and about 10 adults. Trail is awesome weather permitting. Had an excellent program coordinator in Sarah . She was great with kids and coordinated the event stupendously.”

“Just all the animals are so awesome, so much to see, be impressed by, be inspired by and the cuteness factor it's off the charts. But then there's also great food too, some (ok) fairground stuff for the kids, and the truck and tractor pull which is just such a spectacular display of sounds and power that will shake you (literally) to your core. And all for a few bucks at the gate. Simply awesome.”
