“A must do if you're visiting Hollywood. It's fun to walk around the exhibitions. The whole place is interactive so you can play around and get some good pictures. The added little accessories here and there to make it extra fun. You can feel part of the movie for a minute. I think that was my favorite part, the movie exhibition. And well pretty much every celebrity wax figure look pretty real.”

“Definitely stop by this free, and fascinating piece of American Art Pottery history! They have many, if not all, the works ever produced by Red Wing Pottery. I need to return to spend more time perusing, and speaking to the lovely woman in the gift shop, who was extremely knowledgeable and friendly.”

“We were visiting family and wanted to find somewhere with Suffolk history and charm and Riddick Folly House did not disappoint! Lee took us on a 1.5 hours tour (fairly priced) of the 4 story mansion and was able to keep our children who are 10 and 6 engaged and interested. You could tell Lee has a passion for what he is sharing and is very knowledgeable. He would ask us questions and wouldn't even mind answering silly questions. If you are interested in Greek revival homes, carved moldings, intricate furniture, civil war memorabilia and history this beautiful museum will not disappoint. Also, the gift shop had many items true to the character of the home that were reasonably priced. I bought quite a few great items.”

There are interactive displays to keep the children occupied, and plenty of water facts and tidbits for older guests to read. It's free admission, so why not give it a visit and relax while you're visiting Laredo.”

“These guys have been around a while and are proficient in many areas of exhibit design, build, and install. Not to mention they service what they build. This is a very creative group of guys who have shown character and professionalism throughout our build process. From Steve in sales, to Robert our project manager, and of course Phil the owner, we have had some of the best involved in several projects with our museum. They are not perfect and would admit that, but they do what they say they will do. We will absolutely use them again in the future.”

“The little museum on Fenton's history was very interesting to finally visit. It is a little known place to find out more about the history of Fenton. You can see pictures and items from the rural past of this St. Louis suburb and learn more about it's long history. The man who was there was very friendly and willing to show you around the museum. The one problem with the place is the hours which are 10am-2pm Wednesday and Saturday which make it harder to visit than other local museums.”

“We visited on a Sunday and almost didn’t stay because the person opening the museum arrive almost 15 minutes late. The museum is a gem. It is small but includes a lot about the history of Cape Charles. There were displays of artifacts and books that had lots of pictures and information. There was also a fairly long video about the building of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. They also have a display modeling the bridge and tunnel system. It was small but well worth the visit. They also have a few cases of items/books for sale. They only take cash!”

“Five Oaks Museum is well worth your time. The exhibitions are developed with care, intellect, and empathy, with a a lot of thought to who they are partnering with. I always keep an eye out for what is next. This image is "Butterfly Maker" by Greg A. Robinson (Chinook) part of This IS Kalapuyan Land guest curated by artist Steph Littlebird Fogel.”

“I had the honor of spending two nights in the old caboose. It is an experience that cannot be described, especially considering its location on an active railroad. The museum and its host Dave are very informative and they sell very affordable merchandise. A must visit.”

“We had a great time! We got to the 50’s diner 20 min before close so I felt awful we were going to order, but the lady helping us was great! The grilled cheese and French fries were so good. Excellent portions. $23 for 2 adults and a 12 yr old to look at the cars. (Excellent price to be honest) not only were the displays great to look at, the gentleman working the victrola music boxes, let my son use it! The history was amazing to see. The train set was fun to watch with all the detail”

“This is a wonderful museum inside a beautiful historic home. The museum features local artist as well as creators from all over the globe. Some pieces are permanent and others are on loan or touring. Several of the world's faith systems are represented in a variety of art modalities including paintings, sculptures, and photographs under one roof. It is quite moving to envision all people living as one and in peace regardless of spiritual background or belief system. This is a great place to visit if you study or interested in world religion. The attendant was full of helpful information and available for any questions. There is plenty of parking. Due to the historical factor, accessibility may be difficult for those with mobility aides. The Museum of Spiritual Art is a lovely place to visit.”

“Fort Ancient is a great place for families. The museum is interesting for a variety of ages. The hiking paths were a little overgrown, so wear hiking shoes so everyone feels comfortable in the longer grass. The Ohio History Connection pass can be purchased here and it allows visitors free access for a year to over fifty museums and historical sites in Ohio. Make sure to ask for a passport so you can get stamps at each site that you visit.”

“Free - and in the process of being renovated. Quickly shows that segregation was a great idea, that Black's would be socially & economical far better off, than integrated. Which has resulted in the loss of their unique blessings & ability to rise to the pinnacle of integrity & prosperity in mind, body & soul.”

“This is an offbeat wacky fun place to visit! Take your time and explore every building and appreciate the creativity. It's a little on the dark side with all of the animal creations. We spent a good deal of time at the "shard" house! Don't skip the restroom it's absolutely a creative space. May not be a place for very young kiddos.”

“We were camping nearby and stopped in for some brochures and information. We took a tour of the museum and we were very surprised! Very nice and well planned out museum. The museum covers the chronological history of Fulton County with displays on each key time frame. I leaned alot about the area and the history. When we visited there was a display of quilts from the community.”

“We visited for the first time during a birthday party and my kiddos had so much fun!! Definitely a place where your kiddos can use their imagination, and have a ton of fun playing. The floor plan is very open so you can see your child at any PlayStation no matter where you stand/sit. The person who was working tonight was really kind, acknowledged us promptly when we walked in and was helpful throughout the event. We will definitely be back to play again!”

“Wow! We had an amazing visit in February 2022, the staff are so very lovely. Joe was our guide down the mines, and he was amazing! He was great with our 11 year old and answered all questions with such knowledge and experience. We would recommend visiting, it was a great day out for our little family! Amazingly low prices and the cafe is lovely too... There are ponies too, which made my day! Have fun!!”

“We ended up stopping by on our way back from the Lost Dutchman State Park. If you are visiting the area it is a nice attraction. It is mainly for tourists or locals wanting to take out of state family somewhere for the day. The recreation of the town is what I would believe similar to the original that was in the area at the time of the goldrush. They have train rides that go around the town, a zipline, and mine tours.”
