“This is a free museum that is very educational! We took our toddlers here and they absolutely loved it!! They have a neat boat, ropes to learn knots, different models with animal sounds and everything goes into great detail explaining each exhibit. You definitely have to check out the 3D globe they have in the back room it is pretty fascinating! Its a neat place to go with the kids if you're visiting Rockport! Right next to the beach too it doesn't get much better than that!!”

“I absolutely love visiting this surreal place! Especially when the weather is dreary and everything is basically the same color the modern art pieces are showcased during this time of year. There's always something new and interesting to look at here. You truly feel like you're entering a different world”

“What a gem. It's actually quite massive - we were there for a couple of hours and only got to see half. Maybe even less. The 9/11 exhibit is detailed and quite emotional- I couldn't even take any pictures. There are exhibits on various eras that are detailed and well documented. Even if you don't want to read so much, they are wonderfully well put together. You don't have to follow any chronology, but it's set up so that you can if you want to. Really well thought out and lets you really appreciate our state. Note: its free to visit. We did not have to reserve time slots online either. The people at the front desk are super helpful. Outside, there are some wonderful memorials as well, and the space is lovely, you can sit and reflect for a few minutes.”

“So much to learn. Truly an amazing museum. Could spend hours learning and walking back in time to see the past. The artwork is stunning. The statues are life like. If you have an opportunity to visit, invite a veteran or current soldier so personal and so many real life stories. A must see on your Ft. Benning visit. It is free to see but please be generous and make a nice donation.”

“This is such an amazing place!! The first hangar and the offices feels like a time capsule. Everything is so well preserved too and for the buildings that no longer stand there are metal poles describing where they were I also really enjoyed the documentaries in the second airplane hangar. Their Junior ranger program is also really great and they still give the patches to plus wings. I definitely recommend adding this to your travel list 🤠”

“Amazing display of military artifacts. Great staff who can tell you as much as you could ever want to know about the items and history of the items in the museum. Plan to spend more time than you think. The museum is packed and worth the time to read the information provided. Also plenty of military bases around, got lucky enough to see Apaches training!”

“If you're into music this is definitely a place to see. Great displays and wonderful music everywhere you go. The evolution of the Grammy was pretty neat to see how it's grown through time. We breezed through pretty quick, about an hour but you could easily spend more time reading all the info and watching the video clips. There's a little spot with places to sit and watch Grammy performances and awards. It was hard not to sing along and groove a little. You take the elevator to the top to start your journey and work your way back down. Small gift shop.”

“This was an amazing trip down memory lane. My girls absolutely loved coming here. The children's nature area was closed until 2023, so that was the only thing dissappointing about our trip here. I suspect they're updating it. It was clean and well organized. The garden was beautiful to stop and look around after touring the museum. I would definitely recommend coming here for a visit.”

“The museum exhibit starts from history of the community digs on its (Lee Street) past which also started the background of The City of Alexandria became a leader in historic preservation. We found a hidden gem that located on the 3rd floor of Torpedo Factory Art Center which provides historical stories in a quaint space. Not only that, it’s also can be an interesting short archeology field trip for certain ages kids. The museum gift shop available as the museum time. Come and check it out, you won’t be disappointed!”

“This is very up close and personal with nature. However, the animals aren't movable...which is good, for the viewing of it and its habitat and environment. People will appreciate this place, you can take pictures to enhance the magnificence of Creation. Please check it out. 👩💻🐺. I personally visited the Mann Wildlife Learning...with my grandchildren. We always made learning about Creation, and how everything around us, had to have a Brilliant Creator, our Awesome God of the heavens. Powerful indeed. However, don't take my word for it check it out for yourselves 😻 Pictures designed by C.Jahnz”

“We went on a weekday and were able to get in rather quickly with a low crowd. Several exhibits were under refurbishment when we went. Some of the exhibits were really nice but it was rather hot so the admirals were mostly hiding in the shade. We rode the train which was nice on a hot day but it costs extra. The sky liner was not running that day. We had lunch at the cafe The food was standard fast food with hamburgers and chicken strips. There is a large seating area outdoors. It is a small zoo but fun to take small kids for animal encounters.”

Address: 400 Worrell Dr, Charlottesville, VA 22911, USA
“We came in off the freeway, looking for a brief diversion before our one evening in Charlottesville, and were blown away by the explosion of color, texture and emotion on display. What a wonderful surprise. Knowing nothing about Aboriginal art, we learned so much and look forward to learning more. Go now while the superb 50 Years of Papunya Tula Artists exhibit is on display. Admission is free, and the museum building and setting are stunning as well. A small but lovely gift shop tempts with reasonably-priced, unique items.”

“Great place, always has something cool to see or experience. Parking is hit and miss and downtown is downtown. There is almost always an unhinged Christian preaching about the fires of hell on the corner. I would suggest visiting in the daylight and I’m not joking.”
Address: 5905 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90036, USA
“A pretty cool lights display! This lights art installation is amazing and worth the visit to this place. It really lights up our spirits too! Only drawback is that you can never take a picture without any people walking amongst these lights, since this place is super popular and will have tons of people visiting it at any time of the day. But the best time to see this grandeur is after dark, once the lights are on and shining bright!!”
Address: Art Gallery Rd, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia
“An outstanding gallery, truly the mainstay of Sydney’s art scene. The remodelling of their classic rooms is a must see once fully reopened, and the Archibald always attracts significant talent and some truly breathtaking portraits. Also don’t sleep on the free exhibits downstairs - oftentimes there are some understated and lesser-known (read: not mainstream enough for the average/passive consumers of art) artists displaying real killer stuff.”
Address: Argyle St, Glasgow G3 8AG, UK
“I was stunned. The museum is beautiful outside and inside. Great collections (with Dali's Christ on the Cross on display) and lots to see and experience. It's completely free, so make sure to go! On Sunday there is an organ recital around noon, which was also cool to see and hear.”
Address: 919 Broadway, Nashville, TN 37203, USA
“Very nice museum. I’m glad I visited on my last day. It was a pleasure and even peaceful to calmly view all that was displayed and read/learn about the displays. It’s not big but I’d give myself some time if I were you so that you can read and understand the history behind the exhibits….allowing them to come to life! Reasonably priced. Even the gift shop is nice. I recommend! I read that the exhibits change thus I shared some pics! Enjoy!”
