“BEST BURGERS IN TOWN!! We just rediscovered the Peppermill Pub after their remodel. It’s now a casual sports style bar with GREAT food!! The burgers are BIG & so delicious! My husband & I both had the western burger which has several toppings & a spicy bite (with a nice choice of different sides). It was truly the BEST burger we’ve had in the Portland area!! They also have wonderful breakfasts with my husband’s favorite the western omelet & my fave being the Swedish pancakes. Try out the Peppermill. You will LOVE their food & burgers!”

“When I went, they had their grand opening the Sunday before. Not going to lie, was planning on going to Amici's for my birthday dinner. My dad and I decided to stay. The waitress was super nice and welcoming! The chef came out to great us as well. My dad and I ordered the fried calamari, it was light and crisp. I was never a fan of heavily breaded calamari and it had an extra bite to it as well. My dad ordered shrimp scampi and I ordered their penne vodka with chicken. They were so delicious! I had to stop myself from finishing because I wanted to have it for another day! The drinks were good as well. The chef told us about his paella and showed us a picture of the mounds of seafood in it, so we will definitely be back for that! Highly recommend!”

Patty the bartender and the owner whom I met were extremely gracious, hilarious and attentive in order in making me feel comfortable. This bar is fabled on the Tim Dillon show and for good reason. My favorite bar in all of Long Island. Every trip I take to NY for the rest of my life I will make it a point to stop in and stay for a while. 5 stars isn't enough for this hole in the wall gem. Especially if you are trying to chill w friends, hang out, study... so many reasons to visit. They are open early so you can grab a coffee drink, & open late so you can have a night cap or spend the whole night there (like I have on both visits so far). First night they has karaoke (fridays), Sunday was chill (perfect for a friend and I to study), & I heard Saturdays they may have more of a dance vibe. Pet friendly! Be mindful of your pets if you bring them though, of course - rules say to keep em leashed. Everyone we met was super sweet, including guests coming in. This is a wonderful alternative to drinking alcohol & I cannot stress that enough. First & only kava bar in North Texas!! I still cannot contain my excitement that I live near it. They have a big menu (for drinks), don't hesitate to ask questions - everyone has been super helpful with explanations. They have adaptogens you can add, two types of kava, even a large fridge of canned Yerba mate ~ There are lots of board & card games, as well as books to check out while relaxing.”
