“Great place to bring your dog. Only downside is the medium and large dog entry gates have been locked the past few days which makes it difficult to have lots of other dogs.”

“Completed this hike in 5 hours. I did stop to take pictures. This was a challenging addition in my journey. We hiked 5 miles uphill, then about 5 1/2 on the way back to the car. It was a gloomy morning but perfect weather for the climb. Trekking poles are recommended; there's a lot of loose rocks making the downhill slippery. Prepare yourself before you start. Pack yourself snacks and at least 2 bottles of water, you will encounter steep inclines on the way up and it will definitely feel like a workout. Enjoy!”

“Such a large decent size park. Somewhere where you can bring the whole family or a bunch of friends. My daughter loves coming here on a nice day and making friends. It is so clean and well kept. I love making the drive for a great quality park. I DEFINITELY recommend this location, especially if you have little ones.”

“A very nice park to visit. Haven't camped here yet but absolutely looking forward to in the near future. Boat rentals are easy and they provide everything you need for a few hours on the lake. The trails are well groomed and very scenic. There are designated bike trails and designated hiking trails. Which is nice for both parties. To enter the park, you will need a state sticker or pay a fee. Don't miss it.”

“Great place, Floyd is a super great guy, our neighbors have all been super nice and this is a respectable park (unlike others where we had our things stolen, people out and about all hours of the night and so on) I feel super comfy and safe here. Its homey and our fur babies are happy here too :)”

“Made nice walking trails through it. Shillberg is actually the last name of the owners that bought that portion of town, used family savings and bought it for approximately 30 cents an acre and farmed it. The Art barn was thier farm. The son used to be my neighbor.”

“Stayed 2 nights here and really enjoyed the friendly and helpful staff. Came in after office hours and my check in envelope was attached to the office door as promised. Lots of spaces with trees for shade set against the beautiful mountain backdrop. I had a very peaceful and pleasant time here and will definitely be back. BYW, Uber rides to Morongo casino are only from 10 to 12 bucks each way in case your felling lucky! Thanks KOA Banning Stagecoach for a wonderful stay!”

“Beautiful park. Hard to find. Has large fields. Trails to walk. Water is low enough to get down to the beach area as of Sept 2022. Usually is too high. Some graffiti around but good sight lines unless you go down to the water.”

“Buried my dad and now putting my mom down by him. They have been very friendly and helpful in this matter. The view at night is awesome with all the lights . I do recommend this place . The only thing is you can not put up an upright headstones. They do allow in some areas a bench memorial headstones.”

“We spent a beautiful night here in January, 2022 This was our first experience at this base. It’s my favorite base campsite of all the ones we’ve been to so far in Florida. We set our tent up facing the water and the sunset was sublime. Clean facilities and friendly folks all around us. You can’t beat the views here, we love seeing all the ships in distance. Big tankers and other large ships passing by ensure it is never boring. We shall return!”

“We had driven past the entrance to the World Bird Sanctuary many times, on our way to Lone Elk Park. But, this was the first time we had paid the nominal entrance fee to visit. This is a place with a mission/purpose, and it's a good one. The exhibits are well laid out and the variety of birds is unexpected. One of the best features is the stories posted on the enclosures, how the bird got there...the circumstances, etc. We will be back in warmer weather, for sure.”

“Beautiful park, easy hike. I went with a group and we passed quite a few others out walking their dogs or just enjoying the (really) brisk morning. We were near peak on leaf color and it was really pretty. Interesting things to see include the unusually heavy rocks that form a kind of rock garden along the trail, a fenced off pit that they think might represent a very old mining attempt, and the headwaters of the Haw River (which are a bit swampy but still pretty.”

“Random stop... Quick demonstration of a drone and the multiple functions. The place was nice, clean and quiet. I noticed the playground area. Will have to stop in again and explore, do some rock hounding and maybe feel like a kid again for a moment.”

“Came out to this awesome place for my friends Bachelorette party and we are so glad we did. We had such a great time looking around and getting to try the spirits. The weather was great, the music, drinks and the pizza!!! The owner or manager was super sweet and welcoming. Overall it was great, they have a beautiful deck, games for children and plenty of seating. I definitely want to come back!”

“A lovely city park with an outstanding topography excellent for walking and exploring. Although a little rough around the edges, Bryan Park still has a beautiful pastorial charm with touches of a past elegance not often seen in current projects dependent upon the public purse. The park is easily accessible by car, bike, or on foot, and although very close to busy interstate highways, the park provides the guest a remarkable quietness in the middle of a loud, modern city. Highly Recommended.”

“It's definitely fun for the kids! We love playing basketball at Bard Park!! The playground keeps the littles interested as well! Perfect spot for a boy mom to engage in a little sport fun, yet my daughter and I have fun at the play ground and kick the soccer ball and play Frisby and catch for some sport fun too! Perfect for the family! Love it! ❤️”
