“The sand is soft and nice to walk on. Can get crowded at time especially this field but theres a lot of room. Has plenty of parking. Waves can be strong sometimes but the lifeguards are always on watch for potential safety issues. I go here every summer and always have a great experience!”

“When I was a kid it was called Black Bridge. Interesting facts, there was once a gold mining operation there in the 1830's and there is a "land bridge/hole in a big rock" formed by a natural spring that comes out 1/2 way up the hill about 75 yards upstream across the Pootatuck from the old bridge. It also has spectacular Dragonfly/Mayfly hatches between May and August.”

“First time I've ever used a park and ride, and this was great! For those that, like me, had no idea what a park and ride is, it's just a place where you can park your car and carpool, take a taxi, etc.”
