Also, was very friendly about letting my dad go with just a warning on the street that some idiot designed because it makes no sense to have the lane going straight also be the lane turning left into the village. PS. I was the young woman in the back eating oatmeal with peanut butter. Thanks for giving only a warning and not keeping us too long so we could get to where we were going.”

There was an officer in my area who stopped by to make certain nothing was wrong. He made sure I was okay, and gave me the number for dispatch, just in case. Very polite man!”

“Yesterday, July 27, 2016, I was driving from Lafayette to Cincinnati, Ohio when shortly after leaving Interest 865 on to Interstate 465 at about 10:00 am my rear tire blew-out while traveling at a high rate of speed. I was able to slow down and move to the shoulder of the highway. I called 911 for help. The responding State Trooper arrived, we talked asked what I wanted him to do since I had called AAA. I wanted him to keep us safe on the side of the road, that the high speed of traffic made me frightened. He moved his car to protect us and waited until AAA would arrive. When I received word from AAA that it would be another 55 minutes, he asked if I knew how to change a tire, I said yes but had not changed one in a man years. He then proceeded to change my tire which had been shredded, jacked up the car, put on my emergency tire and said to get it fixed as it was good for only 50 miles. I thanked him, got in to start the car and it needed a jump by this time. He again got out of his car and proceeded to start my car. Again I thanked him, he gave me directions to find service and followed me to the exit ramp. He saw that I was going to turn the wrong direction, put on his lights and indicated which way to turn. This young man was very courteous, he gave me his card but I lost it. It was a very nerve racking day for me and my passenger and we want him to know that he saved our day for us. “So my fuel sending gauge went out yesterday leaving my fuel gauge inoperable. Tonight on the way home only the first day with said problem , yep I ran out of gas . Less than 1 minute later a state patrol stopped and picked me up and took me to a gas station so I could purchase a can and a couple gallons. Yes he patted me down for his safety and 16 minutes later I was on my way . I was stressed out and didn't get your name but I will include you in my prayers, thank you mister state patrol!!!! The "SHALER POLICE DEPARTMENT" also did a SUPER JOB of making sure that ALL SHALER RESIDENTS & VISITORS were SAFE & ABIDED by the SAFETY RULES BEFORE, DURING & AFTER the WELL ATTENDED Colorful Display. Of Course, There were the INCONSIDERATE People that DIDN'T want to follow the RULES of Traffic Safety & Who decided to DRIVE in Whatever Direction that they wanted to, ESPECIALLY at the MT. ROYAL SHOPPING CENTER. They would PULL INTO the OUTGOING EXIT & came close to HITTING SEVERAL CARS & PEDESTRIANS. However tho, That DIDN'T dampen the SPIRITS of the MANY FAMILIES & THEIR CHILDREN Who CHEERED Every COLORFUL FIREWORK SHOT & EXPLOSION. Once Again, The "SHALER TOWNSHIP POLICE ADMINISTRATION" & The TALENTED PEOPLE Responsible for this years JULY 4th FIREWORKS DISPLAY should be COMMENDED for an OUTSTANDING JOB.”
