“Thursday Morning Club is a volunteer woman's club in existence since 1896. In 1924 TMC built the Madison Community House and to this day we still own and operate the MCH. We offer the Madison Community House Preschool. The children have a 4 day week from 9:00 - 11:30 or 1:00. We offer Enrichment Classes from preschool children. Two large bright and cheery classrooms, large playground and on snowy or rainy days the children can play in our gym and still be active. Besides preschool, the TMC runs the Before and After School Child Care (BASCC) which is held at the three Madison Elementary schools. We also offer after school enrichment classes. The Madison Community House also serves as a meeting place for more than 25 local organizations and Dress for Success operates their organization out of our building. We are a non-profit organization. We are members of the NJ Federation of Women's Clubs (NJSFWC) since 1900 and the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC); which is an international organization since 1907. The TMC's rich and vibrant history continues to be reflected in the current membership that exhibits a spirit of unity, volunteerism, and stewardship.”
