“Rarely does a restaurant, let alone a breakfast diner, exceed expectations, but Barney's in Frisco certainly does that with shining stars. My server Lily was exceedingly polite and friendly, and went out of her way to ask me not only what I wanted but how my day was going. She was kind, easy going, and I expressed a recommendation for the chicken apple sausage side, which was fantastic. I was on coffee protocol for the morning feed, but I was almost convinced to buy one of their cocktails. They looked so delicious. See images below for the menu. As far as standard gluten free country breakfast go, this hit the spot! Although the restaurant can't guarantee the contents, their food is totally gluten-free, the option without toast to substitute. The fruit was a perfect fit for me. The bathroom was clean and spacious, and everyone else seem to be enjoying their time. The restaurant had a great background, noise of tables and families and friends and couples Wing away the morning while they had their breakfast, served up by a fast and friendly Barney's staff. 5 stars across the board for Barneys Brunch House.”

“What a great little burger joint and wonderful views of the Sacramento River. Amazing friendly staff. This a self serve restaurant. No one waiting on you here you’re just able to sit and enjoy the breeze against the river. The one downside is the restroom. It’s an outhouse inside a storage area that hasn’t been kept up to well. The outhouse smells so bad and hasn’t been cleaned in awhile. If you can get over that it’s a peaceful place, great food, awesome people. I’ll be back.”

“I don't live in the area, I went to Grazie with a friend a few years ago and I've been going back ever since. I love this place! I've introduced lots of people, all of whom love it and return. “This would probably be a great spot if you wanted to party. The food is creative, as are the drinks. But hearing yourself think will be a problem. Went there with the wife for a Saturday night meal. The wait wasn't bad, and the booth was okay. But we were seated next to a twenty person birthday party, so the end of conversation and the occasional bursts of laughter were up there in the next to a jet engine range. Plus, the food came out lukewarm because of the demand from the folks around us. Might not be the case all the time, but I'm not going to take the chance.”

She got it right both times. She gives great customer service and she sees to it the chicken sandwiches are perfect! I ordered the ribs, brisket and mac-n-cheese with bacon, the meals came with a choice of biscuit and cornbread. The ribs were satisfactory, but the brisket and mac-n-cheese were exceptional. The biscuit was plain, but the cornbread had good flavor. I was very pleased with the customer service I received.”

“I have passed by this place hundreds of times and finally came here. Parking is ample, but the traffic of people coming and going may be a little hazardous. Upon entering, the decor and atmosphere are very friendly, quaint and cozy. Staff greeted us promptly and we sat down at a table near the windows. Service was fast and nice. We had a coffee, Bloody Mary, Chicken Fried Steak, Pancake Combo, Hashbrowns, Sourdough toast, eggs and bacon. The food was hot and delicious, they even heat up the syrup for the pancakes. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area or just passing by; try the Bloody Mary; they also have beer, some cocktails and shots of vodka, tequila and rum.”

The only problem I had was there were not many options for vegans and vegetarians. The soup was the only vegetarian dish that I could find on the menu.
