“We’ve been coming to the freight House for many years. Lately we’ve been attending the Mick Sterling live music series on Thursdays and Sundays. First, the music is amazing. Excellent production and first class musicians! Second, the room is great for live music venue. And thirdly, the service is fantastic, very attentive and friendly people! The food menu is limited, a bit pricey but pretty decent. I recommend this place whole heartedly and will be coming back to hang out on the massive deck in the summer.”

“Cool Spanish joint in Russian Hill. A very tasty tapas spot with an even better drink menu. To start off, they had a beautiful meat and cheese board. The garlic shrimp probably the best item they have, was heavenly. The oysters were very fresh and of good quality. They had some delicious desserts as well. I always go with a flan if they have it. I do wish the octopus was a bit better, it let a lot left to be desired. The service was quick, friendly and knowledgeable. Abrazo is also a perfect spot for an intimate date, a family gathering or a special occasion. Dos shrimps up 🍤🍤”

We had schezwan noodles, fried rice, biriyani and pepper goat with Naan. For dessert we had rasmalai and it qas superb. Noodles were excellent, very flavorful. Goat was good as well. Service is quick. When you are done, you are expected to clear the plates. Bathroom was not up to the mark, could be cleaner and ambience could be better.”

“First off I know my English fish n chips. You can smell the deliciousness from the large car park at the rear. Queue up, place your order with the friendly counter staff and find a table. Collect your order and tuck in. Obvs the chips cannot be the same as not the same potatoes as in the UK. But they were still pretty good. The fish and its batter is excellent. Large portion. Highly recommend visiting. The fish cake was not what I was expecting so some regional differences there. It was more like pressed fish in batter. That was big too. Lots of regulars and a nice friendly atmosphere.”

Enhance them with your own portioning of sauces to your liking! Big and tasty serving size. Service was mediocre. I was the only person in store so I would have expected it to turn out differently. I'd suggest to take the food to go and sit in a park! As the ambience is also nothing special and limited seating available only.”

“My first time at Toppers. I asked the guy if all the pizzas were flat crust he said, they had hand tossed. I got the hand tossed. It was tasty as I was leaving I noticed they had a Tall boy which is thickest crust. I wished the guy would have explained their different crust since it was my first time. “I had a nice dinner here with a friend. We could not decide what to have, so shared four of the appetizers followed by a warm chocolate brownie. The calamari salad was very nice, with mangos and cilantro. The calamari was tender and the overall flavour good. The Malaysian chicken skewers with peanut sauce were tasty, and the crabcakes were fresh and crispy. The spring rolls were unusual in that they were filled with vermicelli noodles and carrots, but again, they were hot and crispy. The servers were very professional and friendly, and the food came quickly. It is located in an old house, so had a nice atmosphere.”

“I’ve been missing out on the big flavors of Malaysian cuisine. When I was taken to Nyonya by my friends after a six hour flight and only airplane food…my taste buds were dying for flavor. I asked them to pick out the dishes as I was unfamiliar with most of the menu. With so many dishes I hadn’t tried, they gave me the best welcome back to Brunei dinner. But the standout dish that I thought about throughout my stay and even Google Maps searched in my hometown was Assam Pedas. The tamarind based fish dish left me speechless. I swear all my senses awoke after this meal and that’s when I finally realized that I’ve been missing Malaysian food all my life.”
