“We stopped in Hebronville, on the way to a hunting lease down past El Sauz. We grew up with a Compadre from Kingsville that taught us how to make fajitas. His were amazing. These fajitas are a different style, in the sense that it is perfectly cooked faita meat, that is so simply seasoned and tender, I bet that it didn't even need to be marinated? Eating this meat, without Pico de Gallo, Guacamole and not even tortillas, was the perfect way to truly experience borderland BBQ! Wherever you are coming from, this is worth the drive, to eat like the locals eat!”

“I haven’t been to a Mancinos for a decade and this experience did not disappoint. We ordered a Turkey and ham 8 in grinder, an Italian 4 in grinder, and a large monster pizza and our total was $35. The 8 in grinder is about $9 and the 4 in grinder was about $5 so the pizza was over $15. The grinders were good and definitely worth the price. The pizza was just ok, definitely 4 stars and also the longest part of the order. I didn’t have a long wait time I went on Saturday at 7:30. Why the 4 stars? The menu, as far as I could tell, had no prices. In the economy, it’s important people know what they’re spending while they order. Additionally, the sides aren’t listed, I can’t remember them all but they include breadsticks, onion rings, chips, a side salad, and fries. Will likely be back again and would just prefer prices on menu for a 5 star experience. For the record, the online menu also has no prices :/”

“As always, I don't normally leave reviews for chain places simply because I expect the same level of quality and service from every chain location no matter where in the country I am. So if I decided to do so, something very positive or very negative prompted the review. That is the case here. It was the staff that received this rating. I placed an order online and when I made a change, it reset my crust selection. I did not catch it until the confirmation text. When I called, unfortunately for me, I was informed the driver had already left. Fair enough. When he arrived, I explained the mistake and asked him to donate the pizza to anyone so that it would not go to waste. He asked me several times if I were sure, but I know me and if it's something I don't like or want, it's just going in the trash and I hate wasting food. He took the pizza and asked if I had already paid online and I had. So he said that he would see about either a replacement pizza or at least a refund. I told him not to worry about it as it meant he would lose his tip and he did deliver the pizza. He was very polite and we parted ways. A few minutes later I received a text explaining that they were going to remake the pizza and he would be right back. This error was not his fault nor the store staff's fault and yet they went out of their way to correct the issue. They absolutely deserve this rating. I would make it higher if I could because that is the kind of customer service we need in all industries. Way to go guys and gals!”

“I visited the Prop House this weekend after being told the food was amazing, I was not disappointed. Nice drive & very easy to find. Parking wasn’t an issue, ample parking & spots. Seating options were booths, tables, hi-top tables & bar stools. I chose a hi-top, it was comfortable & clean. The staff were very friendly & professional. The atmosphere reminded me the local restaurant that everyone who live in the town goes there, very cozy & inviting. The menu had a good selection of sandwiches, burgers, steaks & entrees. My meal was perfect, flavorful & perfectly prepared. They also have Cherry Pop, absolutely love cherry pop. My over all experience here great, I will definitely be dining here again soon.”

“It was my first time trying Cuckoo's Grill, and let me just say, I was definitely not disappointed. The Zinger burger is probably the best burger I've had from any halal restaurant. The chicken is crispy on the outside and tender inside, and the Charsi Karahi is amazing. The spice is pretty spot on, so you don't have to worry about drinking tons of water with it. It's perfectly balanced and you can taste the freshness of the chili and tomatoes. For sure will be coming back. The prices are decent too.”

“No Doubt, one of the best steakhouses we have been to and family owned by a wonderful family. Kaitlin waited on us and she is the daughter and a beautiful young lady. As soon as we walked in, we felt at home and welcome. And then the food is beyond fantastic. We started with their homemade chicken gnocchi to the likes we have never had before and phenomenal. Then the prime rib then came with the sides and we could not believe the huge portions and the taste. Seems nowadays it is hard to get a good cut of beef, but not here. We also had their onion rings and fried okra that are to die for along with their ranch dressing. The horseradish sauce is homemade and you can tell. For dessert, we had their chocolate peanut butter pie and that is the best we have ever had. The value here you cannot beat - very reasonable in these times. I wish we lived close but whenever we come back to town we will be there.”

“I've been coming to this store every week for a few months now and I love it. The freshness, value and variety of produce rival Kroger, Fresh Thyme and Westborn Market in my experience. I think this market is a blessing to our community and I love being able to buy rice, beans, and lentils in bulk. In addition they have delicious foods ready to eat from their deli area and fresh made puffed bread daily, and a variety of frozen fish I cannot find at other stores. The customer service is always good. Everyone is friendly and super helpful, especially since I am not familiar with all of the items being sold in the store. My only concern is they use plastic bags with no paper option, but I can easily bring in my reusable bags. I highly recommend.”
